For Guild Neighborhoods, the ability to pick which Endeavors will be active from month to month is part of the guild permissions system and can be assigned to guild ranks.

For Private Neighborhoods, permissions settings are assigned to players individually, and the Neighborhood Manager role allows that player to pick the Neighborhood Endeavor.

Quest: One Neighbor's Junk is Another Troll's Treasure

Completing Endeavor tasks has a chance to drop Griftah's Token of Appreciation. In exchange for this, Griftah will give you Bag of Totally Legitimate Amani Goods. The bag contains three items from the below list. Each item begins a quest which requires that you find the NPC in your Neighborhood who wants that item. There will be an NPC in each Neighborhood who wants each item, so no need to leave your Neighborhood.

Once you find the NPC and give them the item, they will give you a Neighborhood Knick Knack in return. Turn three Neighborhood Knick Knacks in to Griftah to complete One Neighbor's Junk is Another Troll's Treasure which rewards Community Coupons and House XP. Note that while this quest is repeatable, it does give diminishing returns.

Once an endeavor has been completed, I am instructed to check in with the neighborhood trader before they go.. but I have no idea where he is. Does anyone know?

Comment by Magmorella

How do I move the guild neighborhood from Horde to Alliance?

Comment by MikeMJG

10 Endeavors listed. Hopefully we have a lot more than that when things kick off next week!

As excited as I am for ANY activities in the neighborhoods, it seems as though we will only get quest givers for quests ELSEWHERE, just like with the treasure/decor quests.

Now, I'm not saying that is a bad thing because it isn't. But I know I'm not alone when I say we were hoping there would be actual activities and quests for INSIDE the neighborhoods. There is soooo much that can be added.
Some ideas would be:

- a dueling arena (something small)
- fish for fishing, herbs to gather and ore to mine
- hidden treasure chests
- skyriding races
- weekly pet battles and arena (like in our garrison)
- quests to bring something to one of the vendors like mail, or deliver to a players home (mailboxes outside our houses?)
- small amount of enemy mobs that appear in different places on outskirts of neighborhood
- invisible/hidden "spies" from other faction that have to be tracked and located
- make a decor music player with all the music items hidden around the neighborhood

I'm sure you all can think of better ideas but being able to do SOMETHING in the neighborhood other than decorate, buy decor from vendors or leave the neighborhood.

Also, if we could get a portal that will auto take any player to their garrison, whether one big one for all or small ones as decor we can place.

Hopefully they do have plans to add more. Even minigames and stuff like Darkmoon faire can be cool.

Ah yes. Here comes the LFN blasting in Trade. "LFN that has Forbidden Fork unlocked." etc. :)

As a Guild Manager, I have so many questions.

How is a designated "Neighborhood Manager" assigned?

Any screen shots of the process? Or is it just the guild member who created the neighborhood by default?

What happens if a "Neighborhood Manager" doesn't login that month and select endeavors? Is the neighborhood just SOL?

Visually, how will a Neighborhood Manager pick which Endeavors that will be active from month to month?

Thanks in advance for anyone who has data mined answers to these questions.

No Orc endeavors? This sucks.

Home: Be a Good Neighbor - basically, finding stuff to clean around the neighborhood. Cobwebs, cobblestone, stick piles, weed pulling, sea debris, and of course, pet a dog or cat. There was a broken fence to mend, but it would not allow me to mend it and said "Need Midnight Expansion" or something to that effect. This was on alliance side neighborhood. GL.

I found cobwebs around the theater area, cobblestone obviously on the cobblestone paths, stick piles on the paths or off to the side of paths. Dogs and cats are found around the main area of town. Weeds seem to be random areas. Sea Debris around the beach areas and floating in the water.

Perk up sleepy residents (endeavor task): Where you need to perk up 5 sleepy residents. To do that gather kafa'kota berries ( that is also part of another endeavor task where you need to collect 25 berries.) You can trade them to Cousin Shortkaf , for horde players. For every 5 berries you get a kaffacino in return. After you trade the 25 berries you will have 5x kaffacino. Speak to a sleepy resident and give the kaffacino. Do that 5 times total and done :)

So it would seem there's some form of cap on Housing XP from the Endeavour tasks. It's not listed anywhere, there's no information on it, but once you reach it NO task will give XP. Not diminished returns(Which still continue to apply to the Endeavour progress contribution from the task), just no further House XP at all.

It's unfortunately not unexpected - Also see: Delve Journey Progress - but once again it'd be nice if that had been mentioned anywhere, possibly in game information (I mean, it's not like they said there were trying to improve that or anything) that such a cap even existed.

Commenting on the Consortium Consternation one:

There is a phase-wading quest for more XP, in which you have to gather 3 objects.
When talking to the NPC Stezi'ce to be phased (/way 52.63, 38.19) you will be informed, and you will need to be on the Temporary Untethering Apparatus.
It doesn't seem to need the Reshii Wrap to be done, as the NPC has some dialogue of it.

While phased, you will see 3 missing objects - for the moment I don't know if they change daily, but so far these are the ones we had in our Guild Endevour. This completes the task "It's not Phase-Lost, I Just can't Phase-Find it". It can be repeated as much as you want.

To get the items you only need to jump to them, no need of other interactions.
One of them will always need you to perform some "parkour" starting at /way 52.88, 39.22, where a "cat?" speaks to you explaining it. Dont worry if you fall, as there are mini-checkpoints to get back up. In the middle of it, you will find the chair, just jump to it with a previous checkpoint made.

While in the parkour, you can double jump for a bit of skip boost, and go back to reduce the jump.

Pillow
Handmade Chair
Cheese Platter
Phase lost Cookpot
Candelabra
Journals
Credenza
Lawn Flamingo

Also, the other tasks for killing enemies and such are to be made in Outland.
These include going to the following different dungeons and clearing them: The Mechanar, Botanica, Arcatraz, and Mana Tombs (do them in HC as the extra boss Yor is also part of a task)

You can also be part of the Skyguard Assault (happens every 2 hours in the following point /way 54, 10)

You will need to be part of a big group as waves of enemies approach.

Has anyone else noticed that you have different progress in your House Level depending on the Endeavor you are working for? With one house per faction you could technically work on two different endavours. You receive community coupons and housing exp on both, but with the horde endeavor active I'm slightly closer to level 6 than on alliance side.

Comment by kanemochi

Anyone know how much the Neighbour Group bonus is?

Comment by kaisernick

So my alliance house is in a guild my horde is a public one.

my alliance is almost at the second marker

my horde has yet to reach the first and the activity seems to show only me who has put any effort into it.

So public hoods are %^&*ed basically

Deliver Mail with Big Slick in the City (not your owned mount). When in your home Neighborhood during the Loaam endeavors, speak to NPC next to big slick in the city next to the endeavor vendor. Once mounted, hit 3 to activate delivery time. On Map, you'll see Bonus Objectives with locations to deliver to. You can click the location of the bonus objective on your map (not mini map) and follow the direction of the yellow diamond that shows distance (this was easiest for me). Drive your mount into the circle, hit 2 - Deliver Mail. The more you complete, the better the rewards. Level 1 is 10, etc., etc., etc.

Note: You don't take fall damage if you jump off a cliff (woo) and you get speed boosts the more you deliver, stacking up to 10 as long as you remain on Big Slick in the City.

On the Endeavor "Home: Beach Scrap," Go to Founder’s Point, the housing area. I found an NPC with the magnet at approx 31, 37. They are in the western side of the map on the beach. Once you get a magnet from this NPC, walk along the beach and you will pick up the metal and it will pop up on a bar on your screen. Turn the metal in to the Scrap Machines marked in red X’s on your mini map.

I'm doing the Smell Sensation endeavor and I was a little lost about the one to make incense. So, around the town center there are flower petals on the ground (about the same size as the loose stones but in colors like red or purple). To turn them in, there's a cart going around the town. It has a bar on top. When you get close there will be an extra action button to toss the petals into pot on the back of the cart. You need ten for the whole endeavor, but for every five you toss in, you get five incense which can then be used for the other endeavor to light the incense pots.

There is a 2250 XP cap for House XP that can be earned per Endeavor. In addition, completing the Endeavor grants 250 House XP. The total House XP that can be earned from each Endeavor is 2500 House XP. Earned House XP is not Warband-wide. If you have both a Horde house and an Alliance house, they will earn House XP from their own Neighborhoods based on which Endeavor a character has selected as their Active Endeavor.

Why Gatekeep the Endeavor activity in the first place? I want to have myself a McMansion that I had earned through doing nothing but Raiding.

I even went out of my way to do Math to calculate how much EXP we can gain from doing Nothing else but Raiding: factoring in that everyone in the Classic-MoP (Pre!Siege of Orgrimmar) does the Heroic 25-Man difficulty, and running through all of the Raids in every expansion: Minus the LFR Difficulties for both Dragonflight and The War Within: and you'd get upwards of roughly 4,900 Housing EXP Per Character, Per Week.

I am unable to figure out how to start a second endeavor - anyone have any idea?

We did the first one (Mechagnomes) in a few days but how to I start Consortium or whatever now? Nobody is giving me the option and now (post-second pre-patch Midnight) I don't see anything on our 'endeavors' screen. Not even what we earned on the Mechagnomes.

Is this expected? Do we have to wait like 20 days to start the next one or can we start now?

Comment by kennethj717

Something is BROKEN. I have 72% complete on the endeavor bar. I should STILL be getting the XP points allotted (skyguard assault, 150xp) when I complete it and then diminishing returns as I repeat the tasks. I am not getting any xp points and ONLY getting coupons. HELP.

Comment by YamazakiSan

I mentioned this on the endeavor coffer page as well, but if you're having issues interacting with the endeavor coffer, make sure you are using the teleport to plot button and not taking the portal from your faction hub. Taking the portal brings me to a neighborhood that isn't mine, so I can't interact with the coffer or purchase any unlocked endeavor decor.

"Consortium Consternation" Endeavor - "Blade of the Sky" Task - 150 points

During pre-patch Midnight, you will need a party for this, at a minimum.

Eight minutes after an even hour, server time (example: 10:08 AM on your SERVER's time, which may be different from your local time) the Skyguard will land near and start hack into a pillar in Bash'ir Landing, Blade's Edge Mountain, Outlands; coordinates are roughly 54.39 10.73.

The first wave has Fleshbeasts. The elite Fleshbeast will heal itself by eating the dead non-elites.
The second wave has Pillars, fleshbeasts, and unbound ethereals.

My PUG party wiped here and failed the endeavor. I'll edit this to update with more information when I successfully complete the task.

For the Grummle Endeavor -"Home: Collect Berries", the description says: Collect Kafa'kota berries on the neighborhood training climb - 0/3 Fallen berries collected. It took me a bit to figure out but i found grummle 'Brother Cloudbluff' on the side of a mountain in 'The Bloom' zone - way point 61.84 66.53. **Bring 5 luckydos with you - which you will donate to him and he will then give you access to the 'climbing wall' ;) pick up kafa' berries while you climb wall - *Repeatable quest, so pick them all up as you climb and you'll get multiple credits - once you reach top - Hop on one of the Wyverns and follow the flight directions and you'll also get credit for "Home: Ride Out an Overkafanated Denizen of the Peak". Happy climbing, be safe ;)

In the Moderate Mechanization endeavour, for Home: Jet Set Air Trio (test three air jets in a row without touching the ground), first pick up one or more mechanical chickens. These make you fall slower and control yourself in the air, so you can more easily reach and land on the air jets.

Comment by mollys2angels

*****Friend of the Grummles Endeavor*****

I will add more info as I get it. So far, if you collect 5 of the Kafa'kota Berries, which are laying all over in the neighborhood and housing area, and turn them in to Cousin Shortkaf, who is near the portal to Kun Lai in the town center, he will give you Kafacinno, which you then give to the sleepy citizens. They in turn will give you a Luckydo.

As you collect Luckydo's, your "Luck" goes up to 100 on the Yak by the bridge at 51,38 in the town. Talk to Brother Hardpackk by the bridge to Ride the yak once you reach 100, and run through the berries for added speed, avoiding the purple "oil slicks" or puddles on the cobblestones. Run on the paths until you get to the endpoint of 45,48. You will get Adventurer Dawncrests and Community Coupons.

I see that the article has several endeavors listed that have no real information. I'm curious as to where knowledge of these endeavors came from and if we have any idea as to when we might see them.

I have houses in both Alliance and Horde neighborhoods and have, as of now, done all of the endeavors that have been available since launch. Most of the people I know with houses have gotten the decor from all of the endeavors, even if they haven't actually done them all.

New endeavors are really needed for people to stay interested.

After grinding Candle Culture for several hours, I have some observations that may be of use:

This is a really good endeavour for farming housing XP without engaging with the respective zones of each endeavour (I would personally call it neighbourhood-sided grinding to distinguish it, but you may have your own names for it) due to the high minimum XP for the two primary farmable tasks (38).

Of the wax pile minigames, the Wax Ball appears to be the most lucrative (spawning several piles of wax which seem to roll from 1-7 wax, 3 being the average). As for the least lucrative, the wax fountains can be hit or miss (as they seem to be finicky and don't reward you if you enter the drop area right before it closes, though this may be a client-side issue), the wax-dropping Kobold has similar issues but also spawns his areas in a very wide range, and the bouncing slime will often only reward you with 3 wax max even with 6 or so jumps (the highest you can get most of the time before the slime despawns). Any wax collected over the max stack size will be mailed to you.

The best way to spend excess wax is to invest in the Candle Workshop cauldron, as it can proc the wax contribution task roughly three times with only 50 or so wax spent, as opposed to the full 50 normally required. I am unsure of how long it takes for the Candle Workshop to reset without being started, but I would presume it either matches the time of Candle Workshop itself or is longer.

I suggest only completing the Candle Workshop once or twice. Despite the large XP reward, it appears to only complete when you have actually contributed to the workshop (though I have only tested making one candle and going afk without making one) and are in the area. Compound this with the 12 minute time it takes, and it is often more efficient to just farm wax than to do Candle Workshop, albeit it is likely possible to maximize rates by double-dipping with proper timing.

The wax donation task is almost never going to be available, as there's a limit on how much wax you can take at a time alongside the fact that the chest is capped at 100 wax. Honestly, not that important, I just find it funny how taking the wax is probably as generous an act as donating it.

I have some tips to offer for "Candle Culture" neighborhood endeavor:

• Collecting wax, donating to the community wax chest, and contributing wax to the cauldron will crank up the progression with nominal effort.
• When collecting wax if you happen upon the slime-jumping mini-game, just jump once and move on.
• The rolling wax ball and "stuck in the slime" mini-games appear to be most lucrative.
• If your neighborhood isn't very active and feel you'll be doing most of the progress alone, simply focus on collecting wax and contributing to the cauldron to play the candle workshop mini-game. By the time you make 100 candles, you'll be very close to 100% endeavor progress if not guaranteed.
• Play the candle workshop a couple times to get the feel of the 4 phases: Grab a pot and fill it at the cauldron, make a wick, run around for 25-35 drops (these were the minimum and maximum number of animated "flare-ups" it took for the candle to cool), and pull the candle from the pot.
• When you become familiar with the mini-game phases, keep in mind the following:

- Filling The Cauldron: Reacting quickly to the spots that appear to stand under, it may be easier to plan to run to every other mark to best collect the falling wax
- The wick-making game is just like most "untangling" mini-games. Group connected links closest together as fast as possible.
- I was able to make 8 wicks per Candle Workshop game easily by running with the first 4 pots to cool them for about 8 to 10 "flares" each (describing the animation ticks when running with the pot), then set it down by the empty pot stash and keep making more candles). Once I made the 5th wick'd pot, I'd run the distance with it until it was fully cooled and pull the candle. Then I'd throttle pulling the candles from the cooled pots as they became ready.
- Of the 100 candles I made, I was able to achieve 9 candles on just two occasions by making 5 pots and dropping each, throttling how far I'd run with them (roughly 5 steps, 8 steps, 10 steps, 12 steps, 15 steps) and then cranked out more pots and running the distance with each from there on out, and just feeling out the timing.

I finished roughly 95% of the endeavor to reach max and made 100 candles myself in a week playing less than an hour per night, because one of my neighborhoods has collectively failed to reach 100% twice before, missing out on our precious rewards.

It's rough going solo, but if you find yourself having to regularly carry your neighborhood, I hope this helps. 🙏🤓
