Theses music tracks, alongside with Zone-Desert Day, were used in the pre-Cataclysm version of two original desert zones of Silithus and Tanaris, as well as a few other locations which have ties or influences by Old Gods or the Emerald Nightmare. Some examples include:

- the Wailing Caverns dungeon and the cave system in front of it (ties to the Emerald Nightmare)
- the Razorfen Kraul dungeon (desert subzone)
- the Blackfathom Deeps dungeon and the Zoram Strand subzone of Ashenvale it's located in (ties to Old Gods in General, with the void-infused Aku'mai the Devourer)
- the beach in old Azshara (ties to N'Zoth and thus Queen Azshara and their snake-like Naga)
- Silithid-infested regions in the Barrens, Feralas and Thousand Needles (ties to C'Thun and thus the Qiraji and the Silithid insect-like races)

Personally I really like the mysterious yet relaxing vibe of these Night tracks, so I often leave my game running while A^&*!@ in any of these places at night.
