Windows Central Reports World of Warcraft Dragonflight Alpha to Start Thursday, July 14th

Alpha testing for World of Warcraft Dragonflight is rumored to begin this coming Thursday, on July 14th! Windows Central Senior Editor Jez Corden reported the date this evening on Twitter, which aligns with earlier rumors that the testing phase would begin soon after this weekend's
Mythic Dungeon International
.
Cordon also previously commented on the secretive Warcraft mobile game projects in development, noting that the long-rumored
Pokemon Go Warcraft game had been cancelled
, and the then upcoming reveal would be a different game entirely, with
Warcraft: Arclight Rumble
announced just a few days later.
Fans following Dragonflight development may have also noticed that Blizzard has been slowly rolling out previews of the upcoming
professions changes
and class talent tree revamps, with
Death Knight
,
Druid
,
Hunter
,
Priest
, and
Rogue
revealed over the last few weeks. It stands to reason that we'll see at least one more preview before Thursday, though seems less likely that all seven remaining classes will be showcased in such a short amount of time. As a reminder, you can sign-up for Dragonflight testing on the Blizzard website, though no word yet on whether this first phase of Alpha testing will be closed invite only or open to the public. Traditionally, Alpha testing is more limited in scope and number, as the game is in a less stable state, though we can hope this may be a bigger test period due to the short timeline before
