A new quality of life feature is being tested on the Dragonflight Beta: A NPC that tells you exactly how long until a boat or zeppelin arrives!
To get to the Dragon Isles before arriving in Valdrakken and enabling the capital portal, players must take the a boat/airship from Stormwind Harbor/Bladefist Bay. A problem that is unfortunately common is that players have no real notion of when a boat or zeppelin is arriving. Not knowing exactly when the boat/zeppelin arrives can cause players who need to go AFK for a minute to suddenly miss these, being forced to sit around for a few more minutes waiting for the next boat to arrive.
In the latest Dragonflight Beta build, a solution for this problem is being tested! Currently available for Alliance players at the Stormwind Harbor, you can check in with Chrovo, the Dragon Isles Dockmaster, and learn exactly how long is left for the Alliance Dragon Isles boat, the Rugged Dragonscale, to arrive at the docks.
Once you talk to Chrovo, he will display a progress bar showing how long is left for the Rugged Dragonscale to arrive. You can even mouseover the bar to get an exact time for the boat to arrive!
According to Game Designer Josh Augustine, this feature is being expanded for the Durotar airship as well as both boats on the Waking Shores on the next Beta build.
What do you think of this feature? Would you want this possibly expanded to all other boats/zeppelins?
