Fire Mages once again have a new best legendary for raid,

Sun King's Blessing Hotfix
An undocumented hotfix applied earlier this week has fixed the behavior of
Bénédiction du roi-soleil
to match the tooltip.
There are no official notes in the hotfix blog, but the changes are as follows:

now properly activates after 8

are spent (was 9).

now properly gains stacks from

New Fire Mage Best Legendary
Before this change was applied,
Ordre disciplinaire
and
Bénédiction du roi-soleil
were about even in Single Target with
Ordre disciplinaire
pulling ahead in AoE. This change makes this no longer the case, at least for single target.
Bénédiction du roi-soleil
is now the best legendary for Fire for single target. There is no special synergy required such as
Pyroclasme
or covenant choice to make the legendary work. Since the uptime of this legendary is affected by casts, the exact amount it is better will vary, depending on other factors like haste (and likelihood to get buffs like
Infusion de puissance
). As always, it is recommended that you sim your own character to see exactly what the difference is for you.
