Older Paragon Caches Drop Rates Changes with Patch 9.1.5 - Reportedly Higher Drop Rates

ran accidentally ran an experiment with Legion Paragon boxes a few days ago and noticed that the drop rate observed for mounts, pets, and other collectibles is way above the expected.

decided to stock up on Legion rep tokens to use them during the
Anniversary and Pilgrim's Bounty overlap
that happened this week to increase the number of Paragon Boxes they received from them.
With this, they were able to accumulate:

After opening it all, to his surprised, he received
multiple
of each mount and toy that they were missing, something statistical improbable to the degree that happened to them. According to the screenshots shown by kr3b5, opening those Paragon Boxes got them:

What do these Changes to Paragon Boxes Mean?
Legion Paragon Boxes for the longest time have been one of the most frustrating grinds for collectors in the game, with some players requiring extra 1.000.000 rep to obtain the collectibles attached to the Paragon Box they desired. While this change
hasn't been confirmed by Blizzard
it is very likely that Patch 9.1.5 has changed something with Legion Paragon boxes.
The nature of his change is also uncertain, this could be a drop rate increase, bringing the boxes more inline with Shadowlands Paragon rewards, or it could be some sort of bad luck protection system added to Paragon boxes. Without more testing or confirmation from Blizzard it is impossible to tell.
