Just Hit 70 in Dragonflight? To-Do List of Activities for Dragonflight Launch Week

Did you just finish leveling in the Dragon Isles, and you don't know what to do? Where do you want to put your energies on your first couple days in the newest Warcraft expansion?
We have prepared a list of activities players can do on their first week in the Dragon Isles. This will help players progress their characters more comfortably, as the expansion initially rolls out.
Things To Do Before the Weekly Reset
On a previous blue post,
Blizzard has stated that most activities will be unavailable to complete prior to the weekly reset
so players can level to 70 without feeling rushed. However, if you do happen to finish leveling to 70, there are a few things you can do!
Obtain all Dragonriding Talents
Dragonriding glyphs are extremely important, as they drastically improve your drake's ability to stay in the air for longer and fly faster, reducing downtime while flying dramatically. You may have missed some Glyphs while leveling, and this is the perfect time to finish gathering them! Reminder that you only need to collect them once to gain Dragonriding talent access to your entire account.

Start Working on Dragonriding Races
Dragonriding races are a fun sub-activity of Dragonflight, in which you run through pre-determined courses to earn the fastest times possible. You can start working on these while waiting for the weekly reset!

Work on Your Professions
Although profession weekly quests will be locked until the weekly reset, you're able to continue leveling them, and perhaps even unlock some specializations while you're at it! You can use our profession leveling guides to kickstart your journey into Professions in Dragonflight:

Start Gearing up and Working on Renown
Although some gearing sources won't be available right away like Mythic Dungeons, you are able to start obtaining some gear from sources like Normal and Heroic dungeons, World Quests and more.
NOTE: Although the weekly quest to complete World Quests is not available until the weekly resets, chances are there will be a wave of World Quests to complete prior to the weekly reset.
You can also work on completing side quests to earn the Sojourner achievements for each zone and get a kickstart on your Renown reputation grind! It is important to remember that Renown is not as important this time around as there is close to no player power linked to them.

Things To Do After the Weekly Reset
After the weekly reset happens at the usual times in NA and EU, a lot more activities open for players.
Run Mythic Dungeons
Mythic Dungeons are one of the best sources of gear early on in Dragonflight! Mythic dungeons can be ran once a week so you're able to complete all of them once for some good ilvl 372 gear. Use our dungeon guides to get acclimated to the dungeons before stepping foot into them!

Complete Weekly Quests
With the weekly reset, the first round of weekly quests will be available! The main weekly quest is
Aiding the Accord
, which requires you to earn a certain amount of reputation with the four Major Renown factions in Dragonflight, and sometimes will also ask you to complete one of the community events. This quest is available at the middle of Valdrakken, by a fountain in front of the entrance to the Seat of the Aspects.
Another type weekly quest available are the
Show Yer Mettle
PvP weeklies, which will require you to earn honor in a myriad of PvP activities. These are not as required as the weekly reputation quest, but these still grant some Renown to one of the Dragonflight's major factions, so it might be worth pursuing. The PvP weeklies are available by the target dummies in Valdrakken, the entrance to the area located by the Obsidian Enclave, besides the Engineering training spot.
Profession weeklies will also be available by the Artisans's Market in Valdrakken. These will grant knowledge points for your professions, so they are a great way to kickstart your professions!
Run Community Events
You will start receiving rewards from Community Events with the weekly reset. Community Events show up on the Dragon Isles map, and there are three Community Events you can run every week:
The
Siege on Dragonbane Keep
happens just south of the Obsidian Citadel in Waking Shores, and you're tasked to help the Obsidian Outcasts reclaim the keep for the Black Dragonflight. You can earn an epic treasure chest once per week.
The
Centaur Grand Hunts
happen all around the Dragon Isles! There will be always a hunt up and they will move locations every 2 hours. You're able to obtain rewards from Grand Hunts 3 times per week, each time granting a smaller reward.
The
Community Feasts
happen in Iskaara every 3:30 hours and you're tasked to help the Tuskarr create a most delicious soup! You can obtain an epic loot chest once per week.
