Hints at New Spotting Eagle Hunter Glyph in Patch 11.1.5 - Glyph of the Strix

Patch 11.1.5 datamining hints that a new Hunter Glyph may be on the horizon that would allow you to turn Marksmanship's Spotting Eagle into an owl.

After a complete rework in Patch 11.1, Marksmanship Hunters gained a new companion with the Spotting Eagle that will occasionally soar down to attack or stun targets or as the source of their Bloodlust,

Unfortunately, the Spotting Eagle didn't have much in the way of customization, often feeling out of place when playing the Sentinel Hero Talent. A new spell in patch 11.1.5 datamining suggests that a new glyph may be on the way to provide additional customization for the Spotting Eagle
Glyphe de la strix
will turn Marksmanship Hunter's Spotting Eagle into a Spotting Owl. Unfortunately, at the time of publication there are no items or models associated with this spell, so it's hard to tell what this new Spotting Owl will look like or when it might be available for Hunters.
As often is the case with new glyphs, we tend to datamine early signs of them in patches prior to their release patch, so there's no guarantee we'll see this new glyph in 11.1.5. For example, we datamined the
Glyphe de crochet
in the War Within Alpha, but the glyph itself was not available for players until 11.0.5.
However, that won't stop us from speculating a bit about what players might expect from the new Spotting Owl model. Below you can see the current Spotting Eagle model as well as two NPC owls that could be used for the

Strix brun-roux
.
