Two rares in Dragonflight, the Trial of Elements and Trial of Flood, are weekly events which award a guaranteed piece of gear that can drop at a very high item level!
Item Level of Drops
Like other rares and gear sources from Open World content, the item level of the gear that drops will
scale based on your item level.
Trial of Flood - Raging Torrent
This event can be found at
56, 78.6 in the Ohn'ahran Plains
and seems to have a 1 to 2 hour respawn time.

Defeat
Torrent déchaîné
and click the chest at the end of the event to claim your guaranteed piece of loot!
Trial of Elements - Therrocite
This event can be found at
27, 26 in the Primalist Future
and seems to have a 1 to 2 hour respawn time. The Primalist Future was part of the Thaldraszus campaign and can be re-accessed by heading to The Temporal Conflux and clicking the golden portal.
