Activision Blizzard
announced the hiring of two new senior executives
today, naming Julie Hodges as Chief People Officer and and Sandeep Dube as Chief Commercial Officer. Said by CEO Bobby Kotick, "these two outstanding leaders from companies with exceptional reputations will help us achieve our goal of becoming the best company to work for in the entertainment industry while growing our reach, engagement and player investment."
Taking over for Claudine Naughton, Julie Hodges spent nearly 33 years with The Walt Disney Company, most recently as the Senior Vice President of Corporate HR and Compensation, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition, also previously previously serving as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Diversity and Inclusion, responsible for all human resources-related services, including employee and labor relations. As Chief People Officer, she will be responsible for the company's global talent organization, making Activision Blizzard the destination for top talent. Additionally, she will lead all aspects of Human Resources, including diversity, equity and inclusion, talent acquisition, employee experience, learning and development, compensation and benefits and workforce planning.

Filling the vacancy left after Armin Zerza was promoted to CFO earlier this year, Sandeep Dube was formerly the Senior Vice President of Pricing & Revenue Management for Delta Air Lines, responsible for the development, planning and execution of pricing and inventory management strategies, product strategy, commercial delivery, as well as commercial systems development and corporate revenue forecasting. He was also highlighted as playing a key role in building the company’s loyalty program and steering the airline through the volatile demand environment created by the pandemic. As Chief Commercial Officer, he will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategy, delivering on the company’s revenue growth plan, and oversee Activision’s global Sales and Go-To-Market teams.
