Cet élixir est bien meilleur que Flacon de peau-d'acier sur plusieurs boss d'ADD (hm ou pas) tels que Yor'sahj, Zon'ozz, Ultraxion, Echine et folie d'aile de mort qui infligent tous des dégâts magiques.
Avec une résistance a la magie de 195, cela réduit de 8% supplémentaires les dégâts magiques infligés, ce qui le rend plus puissant que le flacon sur certains combats. En plus, il peut être combiné à un élixir de bataille tel que Élixir du maître.

A great elixir. As a Cataclysm tank, 300 stamina is pittance. You should prefer taking this elixir and Elixir of the Master. On certain fights, you may replace this elixir with Elixir of Deep Earth, but in general, this one is prefered. Reducing magic damage is usually reducing spike damage the boss throws out periodically, while armor tends to mostly reduce the constant damage you're slowly taking over the whole encounter, and a spike of damage is more likely to kill you. (YMMV if your healers are running out of mana)

MotW, Kings + Elixir: 187 -> 20.53%
relative reduction: 1-(1-0.2053)/(1-0.1181) = 9.88%

Resi Aura: 195 -> 21.22%
Resi Aura + Elixir: 285 -> 28.25%

This Elixir is pretty useful for tanks against bosses with high magical burst dmg,
but also for DPS to reduce incoming aoe raid dmg.

edit: it's exactly 20.79%
that's pretty epic and that's just without any buffs, imagine kings/mark and shadow resistance? :D

For those of us who don't carry a pocket druid or paladin during our travels, the Drums of Forgotten Kings makes a nice compliment to this for an additional +4% to all stats and +52 to all resistances. At 50 charges/drum it's well worth picking up if you're looking to solo something difficult.

This item is way better than Flacon de peau-d'acier on several DS (HM) encounters like Yor'sahj, Zon'ozz, Ultraxion, Spine and Madness of deathwing.
With 195 base magic resistance, it provides a permanent +8% magic damage reduction (it stacks with everything), which is really nice. Don't forget that you can use a battle elixir like Élixir du maître simultaneously.

It's underrated, as well as Miroir d'images brisées which provides nearly +26% more magic damage reduction during 10 sec, with a short cooldown (1 min).

~~Still gives resistances as of 5.0.4 even though you can't see them. And as far as I know besides older gear this is only way to get +resists now.~~

Edit: As of 5.1 this now grants 225 pvp resilience instead of resist.
