DIRECTIONS FOR USE: (Note: You do not first have to target the demon gate as if it were an NPC.) To use this item, simply
click it in your inventory, like any other "use" item, and that will
bring up a target circle. Move your cursor over the demon gate's location, and
click again to begin channeling. After remaining stationary
for five seconds to complete the channel, the gate will explode and you will get one credit towards the quest. The item has a
range of 20 yards, as seen in the spell detail.

LORE/TRIVIA: If you continue the quest chain, you recover the forest's Heart, which was corrupted by the Horde, but Gnarl will purify it.
This item is actually a piece of the quest-giver, Gnarl, according to the quest text.
In it's wood, a portion of Ashenvale Forest's life force is stored.
