Lets not forget the mats are pretty easy to obtain as well. going to make meta gems more mehta imo. Nice that they made it easier though.

Transmute mastery will proc off this and earthsiege diamonds, and you don't need a Northrend version, your BC mastery applies here.

On my server people are selling the chalcedony for about 3g, the Bloodstone for about 3g and the Eternal Air for about 10g-15g (total of 16g-21g of mats), and selling this transmuted one uncut for 6g. and cut ones from 8g-15g (that's right hte most expensive one I could find was 1g under cost price). It's not even worth makeing for leveling when you can get the levels from Icy Prisims that give you the rare quality gems to cut for lvling later or that sell for more profit.

Unless you happen to have a mineing/alchmist handy, and some really rare cutting recipie for it, don't even bother making these. I made some and they just wouldn't sell for anywhere near cost price let alone for any profit.
