Onyx = Shadow
Ruby = Fire
Amber = Holy
Saphire = Frost

Blasphemite = Doesn't proc at all

Anyone know what the dmg will show up as in Details dmg meter?
And can this be procced without any gems socketed?

In the Damage meter its called "Elemental Focusing Lens"

In my tests it does about 0.8-1.2% damage.
Average 1% damage.
I've tried 1 gem. I've tried 2 different gems. I've tried 2 of the same gem. It doesn't change or stack the damage anymore.
2 of this embellishment stack on at the same time. And do about 2% damage.
With 580 ilvl. The damage is about 95000 on each hit. It just scales with intellect/ilvl.
It can not crit.
It can not proc without any gems on.
It doesn't seems to be affected by school of magic. As i am a frost mage. But the frost gem didn't do more damage than the fire gem.
Emerald Gems: Nature Damage
Onyx Gems: Shadow Damage
Ruby Gems: Fire Damage
Amber Gems: Holy Damage
Sapphire Gems: Frost Damage
If you mix deferent types of gems they do a mix of damage types of the gems you have on.

The elemental focusing lens scales with item level.
This embellishment can stack

I have a 603 ring but scales up too 639 in PvP. The tool tip display damage of the proc goes from 60k damage too 69k when attacking the PvP training dummy. I mainly do Prot PvP and playing mountain thane. The proc is about 1.6% of my damage consistently.

Now I wasn't sold on the other embellishments and decided to stack 2 Elemental focusing lens. This did boost the damage significantly. It's now around 4.5% of my total damage. Which makes it a meaningful proc. On the target dummy it has hit for 178k proc in my details. I have had a 195k proc in open world combat.

Being that I also stack a healthy amount of Versa for PvP is also why I wanted to test this and glad I did. Since that Versa is increasing the stacked Elemental focusing lens. At the moment I do really like it because Mountain thane is very proc based. Thunder clap, proc lightning blast then proc elemental focus. It's really fun when a bunch of damage flies across the screen.

Had this embellishment inserted in my crafting order (Algari Competitor's Rifle), but received it WITHOUT the embellishment on. Even shows my embellishment in my completed orders.

I made a ticket so we'll see if it's a bug.

As a Death Knight, don't bother putting in a Sapphire gem, because it doesn't work with Maîtrise : Cœur gelé

Since they don't have a gem for it anyhow, Blasphemite should just do arcane.

So I have this Elemental Focusing Lens on my boots and I have a gem on my belt, why is the damage not showing up in Details?

I have it on my staff and it procs just fine without any gems. There has to be normal stats gems in some gear though, but not necessarily where the enchant is.

So if I have one of each color of gem because it buffs my Blasphemite diamond effect, it selects a damage type at random. What is less clear is what would happen if I added more sockets to my gear and increased the "color count" of any of the 5 colors to more than one of each. Would it still be random, or would a second ruby or whatever make the proc into consistent Fire damage?

Just to comment, the socket gem does not need to be socketed on the item with the embellishment. It can be another item you are wearing, in case other people like me are wondering.

I tested this with 2 elemental lens socketed on helm + boots, and my gems are on my neck and ring. The damage appeared in Details summary as "Elemental Focusing Lens".
