Has anyone ever seen this drop? It's not listed in Talthonei Ashwhisper loot list, nor i've ever seen it in any groups and i've been farming this rare on 2 druids since day 1 of the patch.

been farming this since day 1 with 6 druid alts and I never seen this drop with groups... I have every other shapeshift forms dropped by rares except this one.

Made a macro to check if you've killed the 6 druid rares already. Hope this helps my fellow druids with these farms!

Ok, real talk now, we shouldn't need to be 15 druids spam killing mobs for 1h+ to see a rare spawn.

Even less for yet another 1% cosmetic.

Dropped this week after 75 attempts https://imgur.com/kEexrs5 .Make a grp or keep searching for existing ones .Drop rate is steadily bad either for small party or big raid grps , none to one mark or so .Good luck

Let me know if you have any issues with these. I've put the odds at 4% (1 in 25). Wowhead consistently states 2% on all of these, but I doubt they take into account the fact that this is only lootable on druids (at least, I think it is). If I'm wrong, let me know that too :)

For those with Tomtom, here's a handy waypoint list for /ttpaste for all the druid drops. Just remove any you don't need the drop from.
I used Moragh's cave entrance, it's close enough to pick up his spawn location (40.4, 72.4) on the map, but this way you fly right to where you can get in, lol.
Talthonei has multiple spawn locations.

This has to be one of the worst grinds i've ever done in my 17 years of WoW.
I have all the old raid 1% mounts, I have done the insane title when it was harder and so on, I am no stranger to grind and RNG.

The problem is that this drop is RNG within RNG within RNG, it took me 28 attempts across two characters to get it, which doesn't seem much until you realize that :

- She can spawn anywhere from your first kill to your nth, some days it took me 5 minutes to spawn her, some days it took me 4 hours on a single character.
- Sometimes you can get the "I will be avenged" message, and she won't spawn at all, meaning even the event to trigger her is either bugged or also has RNG whether it spawns her or not.
- The drop rate itself is extremely low even when you do spawn her.

I advise you to just kill mobs for 30 minutes or so at max daily, and if she doesn't spawn just return some other day, I genuinely felt bad some days after farming mobs for 5-6 hours straight to get her to spawn (maybe) and not get any drops, or spend 2-3 hours to see "I will be avenged" message and feel relief....only to see nothing spawn and resume the grind.

Dropped on my 5th attempt o.o

But strategy wise, whitest camping Matriarch Keevah & Moragh the Slothful, every 15 minutes i would fly over to check for Keen-eyed Cian's spawn and then i would fly over to the bottom right of the map to clear out all the invading Druid of the Flame enemies. The actual chance for Talthonei Ashwhisper to spawn is quite high, the toughest part is the internal spawn timer.

The worst internal CD i had was 1 hour and 45 minutes. I've also had it happen that she would spawn straight away when i did my every 15-minute killing round of Druid of the flames. Incorporating this farm with spawn camping of the other Druid forms seems like the only bearable approach. Do not mindlessly kill Invading Druid of the Flames over and over again, because if the internal spawn timer is still ticking, its pointless. Just check every 15 minutes or so like i did. Also do it on a PvP server. Good luck!

the emerald dream mobs have been boosted to 80 (as of the patch i presume?) had to swap off resto to guardian because i was getting trucked by just a singular mob :(
i'm not sure what else was changed as of now; if talthonei's trigger mechanics, spawn timer, spawn cd etc. are still the same quite yet- farming this has gotten just a smidge more annoying yippee!

edit, several days later: they nerfed the health of mobs significantly in the emerald dream! not one shot'able like they use to be, but much more manageable :)

Figured I'd finally sit myself down and farm the damn thing - only for it to drop on the first kill. Rare spawned after only about 5 minutes as well.
Either they've massively increased both spawn and droprate, or this just robbed me of all my pink rocket luck for the year.
