~~According to a comment on Mossy Mammoth, the final two items drop in Vault Ix, so not in Vault Az. (Mammouth moussu). This was on PTR though, but most likely I guess...~~

EDIT: It seems that the two items don't drop in the Vaults Az, Ur or Ix. So gotta wait for another Vault :)

Insanity. Zskera is so stupid. Spend so much time farming 30 keys every week to vaults with nothing to progress this.

Got it today. It was an un-named vault, and both the bronze dust and the final item were in the vault. I have the mount now. Looks kind of lame TBH.

The vaults appear to happen in order Az, Ur, Ix, Kx. Then the vault loses the naming structure. Each of my toons appears to have to progress through each of the 4 name vaults in order, regardless of the week they started doing the vaults. The vault quest must be completed each week for the vault to progress to the next one. Ignoring my main postponed vault progression. The Bronze dust and brooch (second floor) drop from the first unnamed vault after the initial four named ones.

Found the speck today, in a research chest in the middle entrance area.

Got it on this unnamed Vault with the Excavator on entrance and Claim Junker Mk.3 a big robot that breaths fire.

The dust was in the Locked Research Chest, just in the middle of the room.

The Emerald Broch dropped from the first chest I opened.

Just got Speck of Bronze Dust today.

Think it's an unnamed vault? with some mushroom mobs inside. Got it behind the very first door in a chest.

Well, we have been carrying around the "Egg" for five weeks now and to answer the question of where is this "Speck of Bronze Dust" we need, what vault is it in? The quest "Name" is given right at the front door to the vault each week by "Pathfinder Jeb":
This one is "More Doors To Open" it leads into the unnamed Zskera Vault which does indeed have a group of Fungi mobs to kill. I found the 'Speck of Bronze Dust' in a ground floor vault, it was the one that had a 'treasure/coin golem' and a few piles of gold on the floor to loot as well as a couple of chests. The 'speck' was in one of these chests. I combined the Egg of Unknown Contents with the "Speck of Bronze Dust" and it turned into "Sleeping Ancient Mammoth". This new item now requires it to be combined with an "Emerald Dragon Broach" to 'waken' it.

Continuing to explore this vault, you need to use the 'Crate of Unfinished Scrolls" to teleport randomly to the upper floors, but you do find the usual rocket booster pack on the third floor in the room that has the robot dispenser that takes 'Neltharion Gift Tokens'. There is a room that has the air cyclone and the elementals which grants the jumping gust to patio deck to patio deck and on the second floor too. The best item they made yet for these vaults is a "Positional Displacer" I am guessing a Gnomish Teleporter device, on the second floor again, and with it, you can create a gate like a warlock from LoS (Line of Sight) meaning you can not only skip patio decks and go right across the floor to the other side, but you can by placing the jump icon at the tip of the point on each patio deck you can go up one level or down one level. Just don't pick up the crate of unfinished scrolls or the wind in a bottle items again or you lose this ability. Best Vault Spanner yet!

I found on the second floor a room that has in it the "Protective Ward of Flames" crystal, a couple of piles of gold on the floor to search through and a couple of chests. In one of the chests was the "Emerald Dragon Broach". After combining the two items, I ended up receiving a mount icon for "Mossy Mammoth".
