Got a one-handed axe on my Devastation Evoker. Unsure if it can drop two handers for us, or staffs instead. Anyone else got results from this to share?

Blizzard really needs to clean up this crap. Those that can equip 2 weapons for their character are always getting screwed vs. those that only equip 1 weapon. ie Hunters, Arms Warriors, etc. These things need to complete the weapon requirement. If they are going to give a 1H weapon to a class/spec that needs 2 to complete, they need to give it. As a Shad Priest, this sucks. As a Rogue, when I started back in BC, this sucks. I'm actually surprised no "brain-trust" at Blizzard hasn't figured out how unfair this process is. We lucked out with Legacy weapons in Legion.

Have some data to share;

Been farming this gear for all my alts (over 350k Elemental Overflow) so I have seen a few things;

- If you have extras you don't need, do not sell to vendor without opening the item and creating gear first. It could make the difference of 5g vs. 60-90g. Send to an alt that can open it and then vendor.
- You can only trade loot with people in group who tagged the same mob the loot dropped from. Even if they were in group with you, but didn't hit that mob, you can't trade with them.
- You can only use one trinket, neck and ring no matter how many you pick up, it is always the same and you can only wear one of each.

- You can get wrong spec weapons. Haven't had it happen with gear only weapons (6 times). (i.e. Intellect Mace for Feral Druid). It doesn't seem to matter what spec you are when you loot or what spec you are when you convert it. It seems to be random if that toon can do multiple specs.
- Update about the weapons "issue" the gear will always provide you with gear suitable for the spec you ARE currently using when opening. However - The weapons will go off YOUR loot specialization selected, no matter what spec you are currently in. SO, this means IF (like me) you were in a "DPS spec" but didn't notice you had a "Healer spec" set as your loot specialization, you will get super frustrated that the weapon is giving you the wrong items. - now of course it is still random what type of item, like one-handed vs. two handed. But hopefully this helps someone else not make the same mistake I did and not notice until after messing up 8 weapons!

- There is an Off Hand not listed Corne de tempêtes déchaînées, that you can get for any class that could use it (i.e. druid heals)
- Both two-handed weapons and one-handed drop (i.e. Staff or Mace, Two-hand sword vs. One-handed mace) - if you didn't get what you wanted, just keep farming.
- Weapon, Neck, Trinket, Ring are the lowest drop rates

Last but not least, after you buy the two pets and the mount in the new area, don't forget the Storm Surge vendor back in Valdraken sells two pets and a mount for Elemental overflow as well. Plus gear you can use for transmogs.

I just swapped from Brewmaster to Windwalker, in hopes to get a one-hander , but i got a Empaleur de tempêtes déchaînées instead...

Was hoping to go dual one-handed on my brewmaster, since i had a 408 Fist weapon lying around, thinking swapping specs (yes, and loot specialization), would net me an easy one-hander, but guess not :<

Does this even drop from any bosses? I have farmed up to buy the 100k mount, not a single weapon drop.
Would love to upgrade stuff you can buy from vendor but since I recently started playing again the Storm sigil thing mess it up since I only got 2 of them.

Why didn't they make it so you could have a chance at a off hand .....out of 5 of these I turned with my balance druids only 1 became a staff ..the rest are one handed....which needs a off hand ...
