One of the buffs gave zero mastery. Looking at my character sheet, it did seem to be zero.

It seems like this trinket will activate the proc effect of various trinkets. Presumably other world quest reward trinkets. For example, it pulled out the Azure Arcanic Amplifier and gave a crit buff equal to the trinket of that same name and item level, which I also had equipped to verify. The arrowhead trinket is a mastery buff based on the "might of your current prey" so im guessing that's why it shows 0 when used with no target.

The random effect is not locked to your class. You can get a strength buff as a mage.

And there's also one for 0 mastery.

The Trinket seems to give you a weaker version of a buff/effect from other trinkets.

Some of the buffs/effects I've seen while testing it are:

Stat Buffs
Blood of the Khangaurd: 775 Strength and 2112 Armor ( Sang de la garde du khanat )
Fortitude of the Kalu'ak: 1174 Versatility
Dreamwalking: Regenerate mana (unknown amount) and gain 744 Mastery ( Prisme du domaine des songes )
Azure Amplification: 2168 Critical Strike ( Amplificateur arcanique azur)
Caregiver's Watch: Receive additional healing from <user> ( Charme d’auxiliaire )
Shikaari Huntress' Skill: 0 Mastery (Mastery based on target?) - ( Pointe de flèche de chasseuse shikaar )

Effects
AOE Fire explosion: 38,374 Damage (Not sure if 100% crit or not, has been for me.)

I'm sure theres more but that's all I keep getting, at least as an Evoker. Not sure if its class/spec limited or not.

Funnily enough, this item gives the in-chat 'rummage' message to everyone around you, not just you. Meaning your entire party sees that they are rummaging around a sack to find something, despite not using this trinket.

With the recent hotfix for this item, the 0 mastery proc is fixed, and it also seems to have main stat now.

So do you get this search message even if you have the trinket on you anymore? I keep getting the message even though the trinket was replace a while ago.

Fun, but almost useless trinket. I have enjoyed some of the quirky trinkets Dragonflight has to offer. I don't even care if it's useless as long as its interesting, honestly.
