Disc Priests:

I managed to get the mythic version of this during a mythic run today and immediately had some questions about it, so I grabbed a friend and went to a training dummy.

This trinket will proc on healing done via atonement. Healing from atonement as a result of smite, penance, holy fire, or any other damaging ability is considered a "healing spell" and therefore has a chance to proc the trinket.

Just got the heroic version of this trinket last night.
So far from the few heroics I healed after seems to be a good fit for holy priests. Similar proc to prayer of mending. Activates on most heals don't believe it props from mastery, but will proceed from renew, heal, flash heal, and your aoe heals and holy words.
With recount in 2 heroics it accounted for 6% of my healing just under prayer of mending which was around 7-8%. A worthy mention as well is that it props echos of light our mastery and right now I only have 30% but the added benefit is nice. still need to gather more data but so far loving it.

Procs on every kind of heal, Direct, over time, AOE - all of them - procs off shaman healing stream totem

it looks like a little bolt of magic water that bounces between a few people - in mythic dungeons it accounts for about 4% of my total healing which isn't bad considering it costs 0 mana and has decent stats

This actually isn't a bad little trinket for a prot paladin. I main holy but started doing world quests in prot, and this trinket along with Prix pour le Naglfar actually keep me topped off fairly well and help me survive the more dangerous/large pulls (elites in Suramar city, "danger" quests, etc).

As a holy paladin, this trinket makes up for about 4-6% of my total healing in dungeons.

After healing a heroic Black Rook Hold run as a holy priest, the trinket proc accounted for 3.2% of my healing and 9.2% of my overhealing. Trinket ilvl is 810.

Was testing this item out in my garrison and found some interesting data, mostly for any Holy Paladins out there

- Trinket doesn't seem to proc out of combat
- Pulse bounce range limit appears to be 10 yards
- Beacon of Light does not replicate any of the pulse healing
- Mastery: Lightbringer does not improve the healing done
- Aura of Mercy does not seem to proc the trinket (dissappointing)
- Any heal that you have to cast DOES activate the trinket, ticks from Light's Hammer, group healing such as Light of Dawn and even Light of the Martyr
- when Light of the Martyr procs the trinket, you get healed BEFORE you are hurt*
- Judgment of Light healing DOES activate the trinket (surprising)

The lack of Mastery, Beacon and Mercy interaction makes me doubt it is an ideal trinket for Holy Paladins, probably great for Restoration Druids who largely heal via heal ticks and thus have higher proc chances for this to activate?

* According to the changelog, every time I was healed by a pulse proc from LotM, it was listed before I was hurt by LotM, unfortunately

This procs off pretty much every other cast.

Does "your target" mean the person you just cast the heal on, or the person you currently have targeted? If you heal using an add-on like Healbot or Vuhdo those aren't necessarily the same thing.

IMO this trinket only provides very weak heals for resto druid because it doesn't seem to proc from HoT ticks, I recommend swapping to better trinkets asap

239 version of this accounts for 7-9% of my healing during M+15 dungeons as a resto shaman. Quite a significant amount, usually 4th on my healing done.

* Level 70, ilvl 359 (Timewalking)
* Equipped for sloppy Halls of Valor +13.
* Mistweaver monk and only so-so at playing it.

Impulsion was my number 4 healing spell at 7.7%, which was just over half of my number 1 healing spell/ability. Still not entirely sold on it as a trinket but I will keep it for now.
