In case it's not clear, this is classified as a fungus. You can see the two little mushrooms on top clearly here, but in game it's harder to see. I tested this by trying to feed it to various pets on my Hunter.

For any hunters searching for the Legion Version of the Fungus family, it can be found here - Roasted Maize

Despite maize usually being a corn product, the Roasted Maize will work as a Fungus for the purpose of feeding hunter pets.
