Used this today as an Assassination rogue, and it gave me Turbulent Warmace of the Deft(mut doesn't use maces..) Clearly something is buggy there, so be careful!

Used this several times as windwalker monk, i got different items, once a Arme d'hast turbulente and once a Masse de guerre turbulente .

This proves you're not always going to get the same item, so if you got something bad keep trying and you might get another better item the next time.

I couldn't find an answer for this anywhere so I tested it out myself. I used this as a fury warrior and got a one-hand mace, an upgrade for my protection set as well!

Used today as protection... got a one handed axe with Haste and Versatility... DE'd. Hoping the next time I get this mission I get a weapon that holds some kind of use x.x; - still have my 621 Mastery / Haste so... hoping for BA/Mast or Crit next time.

As far as folks getting odd combos - make sure your loot specification is set right! You can be in prot but set to fury and get the fury wep.

Though if you're Fury... does it give a 2-hand or 1-handed weapon? O_O;;

Does anyone know whether this can produce a shield? (haven't seen any turbulent shield/non-weapon offhands item rewards)

I'm a Frost DK, would love to try Dual-Wield again. But, since all specs use 2-hander option and frost the only spec with 1H option, I keep running into 2-handed and no one-handers. Probably just bad RNG :(

After having used the Turbulent Armament several times as a Combat Rogue (with the correct loot specialization) and only having gotten daggers, I eventually got tired of it and decided to investigate. I looked around and found the posts made here about Assassination Rogues having gotten maces, and a post on the official forums by someone with the same issue. The poster on the official forums was told to report it in-game, and to keep an eye on the Known Issues on the forums. Not satisfied with what I'd found, I decided I would open an in-game ticket, hoping that I would get a clear answer. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to actually talk to a GM as the wait time was very long and I wasn't in-game when they responded (almost exactly 48 hours after I'd created it), but this is what they told me:

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but we are very busy at the moment.

I've looked in to this for you, and it is correct that the Turbulent Armament has a chance to give you a dagger.

This is because the item has a chance do this for all three Rogue specs as that was the intent of the dev team.

If you feel it should be changed then feel free to send your feedback to the devs with the submit a suggestion button in game.

So, it appears that this is intentional, which is slightly frustrating if you're unlucky enough to get items you don't want several times in a row (as I have), but if that was the intent of the dev team, I guess I'll just have to keep trying and hope I get the mace eventually. Hopefully this post will help anyone else who's wondering about this item. :)

I've had a problem with these tokens not paying any attention to loot specialization (though if you tooltip the token it will say the loot specialization in the tooltip). For instance had a brewmaster Monk that already had a weapon at token ilevel, so switched to mistweaver loot specialization before using token and still got an Agility weapon.

so be careful. Maybe completely changing specs will help.
