this might be a reference to the breath of Valka from Kull the Conqueror. Might not be but you never know what weed the guys at blizzard smoke when they think of this toys or what they watch for inspiration once they smoke it :)

very likely a reference to Brandon Sanderson's Warbreaker novel which includes a school of magic where people can take and collect Breath from others (those with no Breath are left as Drabs, some consider them to be soulless and others consider them blessed to have given up their Breath for their 'gods'). it wouldn't be the first Sanderson reference in WoW

This can be used while your a ghost and the buff will remain when you resurrect. Pretty cool!

Edit: Actually, you can use it as a corpse, too.

Obviously this toy would be far too overpowered if low levels could use it or it had an uptime greater than 8%.

You will have frosted breath anywhere you go for five minutes. There is a one hour cool-down on this toy for reasons unknown.

He is a fairly easy to kill level 90 elemental. If you are under geared, or a low DPS class, then I suggest you step back from him while he is casting Vents arctiques.

The frosty breath effect used to be more visible on female Night Elves, if my memory serves me. This was when they opened their mouths more when breathing, but Blizzard has since fixed it.

There is no visible effect on my Forsaken, which makes serve seeing as they don’t breathe.
