Pile en 19.2, 12.0 AU DESSUS. Pas dans la grotte. Au dessus, derrière le puits, une toute petite pièce dorée par terre. Un fin passage y conduit.

Accessible par la mer. Il faut alors remonter sur la côte à l'endroit ou la terre semble avoir formé un delta (on distingue en approchant comme une coulée plus claire sur le sol qui semble se diviser en s'approchant de la côte).

Fournit un buff Chanceux "Chanceux (vous vous sentez en veine)" qui est actif dans tout Givrefeu et qui augmente de 2% force, agilité et intelligence.

Why was it discarded ?

Old cultist rumor's speak of demonically cursed coin's of luck that amplify the owner's luck, but once that luck has been exhausted the owner will meet a grim demise.

It's not immediately visible what you need to do with the well. It is actually on the floor next to the well. Look for a small coin. While carrying it in your inventory you actually receive a buff Chanceux which allegedly increases your stats 2% ( agi str int )

The coin is very very small sitting on the ground next to the well on the side facing the water.....it takes a bit to mouse over and get the cog.

I just got the coin during my treasure hunting / rare killing... The 2 rares I killed after getting the coin, I get an epic upgrade... could it be linked ?

I wish the buff given by this item was up everywhere, not because of the alleged 2% stat increase, but because after I found it I decided to fish for Fire Ammonite Lunkers. I caught 4 in an hour's time, then went to Shadowmoon, fished for 2 hour's time and didn't catch a single Lunker. The Lucky buff sure seems to work in my book, just sad it doesn't work anywhere but Frostfire.

It is NOT located inside the cave. It is at the end of a path that starts at 20,13 (near the cave) an area called At'Gar Promontory.

The coin is on the WEST side of the well... Closest to the water. It is possible to actually walk on the water using spells, potions or a Rênes de trotteur aquatique azur. If accessing it from the water, go up the cliffside at 19.2,12.0... When you reach the well, it will be on the ground in front of you (if you reached it from the water) otherwise it is on the back side of the well and it is a bright golden/yellow color. ~ it's pretty easy to find. I can report as of Patch 6.1.2 it absolutely MUST be in your BAGS (not in your bank).

When playing as a Gobelin, using Hobgobelin de bât - as soon as Gobber leaves, the buff will immediately be removed.
If you place the coin in your bank, it seems to stay active - even through logins/logouts - but as soon as you leave your current zone/garrison, only then will the buff be removed.

So remember to always keep it in your backpack/bags when in Crête de Givrefeu to receive the buff!

Noticed that after reaching a certain ilvl the Lucky Buff, while present, no longer benefits you with a 2% stat increase while in Frostfire Ridge. Unfortunately I didn't see what ilvl it happened at, but as of right now I'm ilvl 695 and have noticed it not working at least since ilvl 682 or so.

Not that anyone with that high of an ilvl should NEED a boost in Frostfire Ridge, but I believe it is important to note.

The location is not within the cave but down a narrow path between the cliffs.

Would it be really too strong if that Discarded Lucky Coin would actually work in all Draenor's zones?

I had to test this out. It is not usable if you keep it in the bank. You must have this in your bags to get the buff. I put it in my bank and the buff did not show up. When I took it out of the bank the buff appeared. Only usable in Frostfire Ridge.

kinda sorta nice, I guess. is it worth cluttering my inventory with it? with all the little bribes Blizzard gives to keep players playing their game I won't have room for loot.

As seems to be the case with many (all?) of the Draenor treasures now, you CANNOT pick this up if less than level 90. So, no lucky buff (stat boost or not, I like my characters being "lucky". :-P) on your lowbies. :-(
