To reach the island, there are portals by the Shado-Pan Garrison.

When flying over your faction's capital, you'll automatically get Le tonnerre nous appelle in your log. Head to the Shado-Pan Garrison in Steppes de Tanglong, which then has the follow-up quest La tempête se prépare/La tempête se prépare.

Flying is not allowed on the Île du Tonnerre, so choosing a ground mount does matter! Consider investing in Trotteurs aquatiques des Hameçonneurs or Fers à monture gonflables to make travel around the coastal areas easier.

You can set your hearthstone to the island in later phases, but not at first. However, you can set it by the portals at the Shado-Pan Garrison.

You can get back to your base easily with Balise du Kirin Tor/Balise des Saccage-Soleil, which is given to you after La tempête se prépare/La tempête se prépare If you lose it, your quartermaster sells it for .

Stage 1: Players land on the shore and complete PvE dailies in three locations.

Stage 2: Factions build on-shore bases and players now have a choice of completing either PvE or PvP-themed dailies.

Stage 3: Players tear down the outer wall of the city, resulting in new potential PvE daily hubs.

Stage 4: Players unlock the Thunder Forges and Lightning Vein Mines, which allow Blacksmiths to craft vanity weapons for transmog and Lingot de foudracier.

Stage 5: Players unlock Stormsea Landing, which lets players complete several rares and achievements.

Stages Complete: Players unlock one of the new world bosses, Nalak, as well as an easier entrance to Throne of Thunder.

Along the way, each faction's base will grow. The Alliance construct a towering spire while the Horde construct a magical well.

Zone-Wide Drops

Voxxel left a great comment explaining how to do this quest quickly, as there are no set spawn points for each of the four objectives.

In the Court of Bones, summon and defeat all of the ancient mogu listed below. Also see Tous les Mogu sont dans la nature.
You will need to get incantations, such as Incantation de Deng, to use in the Mogu graveyard in the Court of Bones to summon these mobs. Calesta has a good explanation of the materials needed to summon and coordinates.

Enjoy the effects of a Zandalari Potion and the Mighty Loa buff at the same time.
Killing Dieu-mastodonte drakkari on the southern beach will grant Loa puissant, and nearby Za'tual is filled with Potion zandalari.

There are 10 mobs scattered around the Isle for Les champions de Lei Shen, who can drop Pierre rituelle shan'ze for players once a week. Pierre rituelle shan'ze can be gotten through other means, such as completing dailies or running Citadelle du Roi-tonnerre.

You can summon an elite with 3x Pierre rituelle shan'ze for Ça valait chaque pierre rituelle dépensée.

Blacksmithing Patterns

There are three tiers of these vanity weapons with different stats and models, just like there was in Burning Crusade (Gueule de dragon vs Frappe du dragon). To learn the first tier, you must first kill Itoka who is a challenging mini-boss--Ravij left a very detailed comment explaining how to kill him. There is a chance for him to drop Lingot de métal bizarre which starts the quest Le foudracier.

Turning this quest in rewards you with Lingot de foudracier and Précisions sur le foudracier which contains the following seven plans:

I came here because I thought you had a guide to the 1-man scenarios. Then I saw a link to a video for Tank Spot. I'm probably not going to go off Wowhead to look for information which should be linked here, though.

No info here shows up on the 1 man scenarios and the little chain to get the "Isle of Thunder" achievement.

If you search the individual scenarios in Wowhead, they are not searchable, apparently, or connected as chain quests are.

I will come back to use this guide when I need to knock out the achievements. But it would be nice to have linkage to the 6 scenarios for the "Isle of Thunder" achievement since there seems to be a gap. Thanks for the guide all the same.

This guide was helpful for me. As a blacksmith, I wasn't sure how to go about learning to make Lightning Steel Ingots. There were some very helpful links for that. Also, was it just a random (good) experience, or does the Isle of Thunder have more rare blue pet spawns? I've only been there once so far and managed to nab 3/5 pets in the wild as rares. Of the five elder pythons I battled, two were rares!

Tome scellé de la légion perdue is a rare quest-starting item that is warlock-exclusive. It turns into Le Codex de Xerrath which begins the quest Un tome insolite, the first quest of the chain that unlocks green fire for warlock spells. Here is a (removed) on the entire questline. Good luck!

I didn't think the PvP dailies would give Conquest Points after this patch, of course, but they've also stopped giving Honor Points! I don't see any reason to do the PvP dailies anymore once you hit exalted. A major bummer if you ask me.

I kind of abandoned the Thunder Calls quest.. I checked in front of the shrine of the two moons and the quest could not show up again.

If you do not see the portals, find Vareesa Stormrunner standing in a tent and accept and complete the "The Storm Gathers" quest. This will start the process of opening up the island.
