Click on the small mushrooms at the bottom of the trees, when they become mushroom people use the quest item on them

They then become stationary and will keep you in combat

Do this two more times, before the first one despawns

Enter Operation: Mechagon, you don't need a group to do this

Check this location (behind the instance portal, walk right and cross over the mountain) for a Saute-ferraille jaune, or this location for a Renifleur dent-sombre, or really any pet you see close to Rustbolt (pets CAN spawn near aggressive mobs).

If you don't see any, walk through the instance portal and leave

Right click your portrait, reset the instance

Walk back in and check again

Mécaniques, moches et méchants - Defeat all of the mechanized minion pets on Mechagon Island

Méca-safari and Mécaniques, moches et méchants are required for Troupe hydrochoc, along with Safari nazjatari and Nuisances nautiques de Nazjatar. This achievement rewards the adorable Nagalgue.

My pet capture team works great on Mechagon

Avorton frigbold with Boule de neige/Coup de pied/Coup affaiblissant
Ronchon with Morsure/Hurlement/Aboiement surpuissant
Loque with Griffe/Aboiement surpuissant/Prison d’os

Avorton frigbold with Boule de neige is great against the Machine pets. Bring their HP down then use Coup affaiblissant to avoid killing it.
Ronchon with Hurlement and Aboiement surpuissant annihilates the Bestiole pets without killing them, brought a Rare H/H Roach from max to 1 HP with just those.
Loque is mainly just a back-up, but does help with the pets that have a feign death-like ability with Prison d’os

Some of these pets have been hard to capture. Not because they're hard to beat/get to a low life, but because they use Explode and suicide before I'm able to capture them.
Just lost out on a S/S Scrapyard Tunneler =(

the pets in operation: mechagon, seem to no longer be available on the island. they are still available, of course, inside mechagon itself

One detail regarding the Snowsoft Nibbler - when the fourth mushroom spawns, you'll know it's the one cause it's HUGH and elite like to kill and after you kill it's that's when you get the Nibbler.

Melted Irradiated Undercoat / Irradiated Elementaling - Get shirt - use charge - 5 charges - okay, you need to expand a little on this. Do you 'charge up' the shirt? Do you charge up the shirt five separate times? How do you "use" a charge?

How many resets does it typically take to get wild pets to spawn in the surface area of Operation:Mechagon in the accessible areas? I did a full 10 resets allowed in an hour and never saw a battleable wild pet. Just critters.

I wonder if Blizzard nerfed this.

Update: after 12 resets, I saw one capturable pet spawn. Completely out of reach (by the Horde dock). So Blizzard seems to have set it up to troll.

The wild pets in Mechagon seem to be spawning just outside the player area. Going to them either is prevented by some sort of barrier or else you get vaporized for going out of bounds. Come on Blizz, play fair!
