Both bosses need to die within 10 seconds of each other to stop Sombre régénération from triggering.

Tank bosses within 20 yards whilst Tek'ris has Hivemind control, and 20 yards apart when Ka'zir has Hivemind control to avoid Voile d’ombre from triggering.

Stack near the bosses or near the Éruption instable add when s spawn, as to funnel them together for cleave damage.

Nuke down each Dardeur aqir to reduce the amount of Résonance psionique casts that occur.

s and Darters can be crowd controlled by nearly all means. Use CC to stack them up and keep them there!

Focus on killing the Éruption instable empowered drone before it completes its cast.

Tanks should face Tek'ris away from others and should sidestep the Annulation explosive.

All players should spread 4+ yards when Vide résonnant is cast.

Stay away from the eggs and dodge the adds the role across the room when Apparition d’Aqir acide is cast.

Interrupt the Nova de distraction mentale cast to avoid the 50% haste reduction it puts on the group.

Hivemind

When a boss controls the Hivemind it forces the raid to position them differently, as incorrect positioning will lead to a 99% damage taken reduction on all enemies via Voile d’ombre until the positioning has been corrected.

Additionally, the boss who is in control of the Hivemind will apply a unique permanent buff to all adds that spawn during this Hivemind.

Taking control of the Hivemind forces the boss to cast for 5 seconds. During this time the boss is moveable, allowing the tanks to position the bosses correctly before the Hivemind takes effect.

Tek'ris will always gain control of the Hivemind at the beginning of the encounter.

Whilst this boss is in control, the two bosses must remain within 20 yards of each other to avoid triggering Voile d’ombre.

The tanks should keep the bosses as stacked as possible, as to allow DPS to easily cleave between them.

This increases their damage dealt and their movement speed by 1% and this can stack endlessly.

Adds should be killed as soon as possible at all times throughout the fight, but players should focus on adds that have been active the longest during this Hivemind as to reduce the chance of somebody taking a ton of damage from an add with a ton of Infusion de Vide buffs.

Ka'zir will always gain control of the Hivemind after Tek'ris.

Whilst this boss is in control, the two bosses must be kept 20+ yards apart to avoid triggering the Voile d’ombre.

Although you could keep them 21 yards apart from each other to deal with this, we recommend having the bosses at least 30+ yards apart, as this allows tanks to move from mechanics without accidentally triggering the damage reduction.

This permanent buff will heal any add below 20% health for 3% of their maximum health every second.

DPS must not ignore low health enemies. They must make sure that an add is fully dead before switching their focus back to the bosses.

Sombre régénération

If this 10 second cast goes through, the boss will heal for 30% of their maximum health.

This cast is only interrupted when both bosses reach 1 health, at which point they die and the encounter ends.

The raid needs to ensure that both bosses reach 1 health within this 10 second window, as otherwise the raid will likely wipe or the attempt will extend far longer than it needs too.

Lesser Aqir Adds

These adds should always be the number one damage priority for all DPS, as the adds can get out of control when under the effects of Infusion de Vide or Régénération.

DPS may want to run good AoE/Cleave azerite essences/azerite gear as well as talents to achieve this, as the fight is pretty easy if all the adds die in a short period of time.

s spawn in large swarms approximately every 1:20.

These adds will Décérébrély fixate on random players. After reaching a player they just melee hit, dealing a small amount of physical damage.

When The s spawn, the raid should find a location to stack up as to funnel all of the adds to a single area.

This will help remove the adds from the encounter as soon as possible.

During Contrôle de conscience collective de Tek’ris, we recommend that all non-tank players stack near the bosses, as to also cleave damage onto them.

During Infusion de Vide, we recommend that all non-tank players stack near the add with Éruption instable, so that this add can be killed quickly whilst DPS splash damage onto all of the drones.

s can be crowd controlled in anyway, most notably they can be displaced, stunned, rooted and slowed, making a mass grip an excellent tool for stacking these bugs up.

Stack near bosses to funnel the adds together!

Dardeur aqir

Dardeur aqirs spawn in sets of three shortly after a set of drones spawn.

The swoop into the encounter space and hover on a random location.

They then cast Résonance psionique, dealing a small burst of damage to the entire raid whilst also shifting to a new randomly chosen location.

Like the drones, these adds can be crowd controlled in anyway, including displacements, stuns, roots and slows.

These adds should be focused down by all DPS, ideally whilst dragging them to a boss with grips and knockbacks.

It is tempting for melee DPS to ignore these adds, as they can be far away from the bosses, but keeping a darter up for a long period of time can be disastrous, as its raid damage can get excessive with Infusion de Vide or it might not be able to be bursted down with Régénération.

Stunning or otherwise incapacitating a darter will interrupt its cast and keep it at its current location.

If a darter is in a good location, they should be stunned or rooted to keep them in that location.

Try to get Dardeur aqirs under the bosses to be cleaved down.

Tek'ris AbilitiesAnnulation explosive

Roughly every 30 seconds, Tek'ris wil;l cast Annulation explosive towards the tank.

This marks a cone area in front of Tek'ris. At the end of the cast all players within this zone take a burst of damage and receive the Annulation debuff, which deals ticking damage and reduces incoming healing by 50% for 6 seconds.

Tek'ris does not move the location of the zone to match the tanks movement once it has been placed. This allows the tank to side step it.

The tank should face Tek'ris towards the edge of the encounter space, away from other players, as to make sure that nobody accidentally stands within it.

If the tank messes up then they should pop a survival cooldown as to make sure they don't die during the Annulation debuff.

Face the Annulation explosive away and move out of it before the cast ends!

Vide résonnantTek'risVide résonnant

After 4 seconds, all players will deal a burst of shadow damage to themselves and anyone else within 4 yards.

When this ability is cast, players need to quickly find a place to stand alone, as to make sure they do not splash damage onto others.

Healers may want to use a cooldown or two during this time, as this is the highest raid damage ability in the encounter, making cooldowns most effective here.

Spread out when Vide résonnant is cast!

Ka'zir's AbilitiesApparition d’Aqir acideApparition d’Aqir acide

After a few moments an Acidic Aqir add will burst from each egg and role across the encounter space in a straight line.

The direction of the add seems to be randomly selected, but generally cut through the centre area of the room.

Any player who is touched by these rolling adds taking a burst of nature damage and are afflicted with Corrosion, an 8 second dot which increases all damage taken by 25%.

Once the adds have rolled across the room they will despawn.

All players should avoid these adds as best they can. This is most easily done by staying away from the spawn egg of any adds whilst also avoiding the middle of the encounter space.

Any player with Corrosion should be spot healed as to make sure they do not die to any other incoming damage.

Dodge the rolling Acidic Aqir adds!

This interruptible cast deals applies a dot to the entire raid which also reduces haste by 50% for 8 seconds.

This ability should be interrupted every single time. A two person interrupt rotation can cover every cast (as long as their interrupt cooldown is 15 seconds or less).

Good candidates to be part of the interrupt rotation are: The tank holding Ka'zir, a Restoration Shaman, a melee player with a ranged interrupt (Demon Hunters/Shamans).

Interrupting players must be aware that their may be mechanics that force you to move location whilst Nova de distraction mentale is being cast, potentially causing you to lose range of the boss.

Heroic DifficultyFrénésie dévorante

Frénésie dévorante triggers each time the Hivemind switches between bosses, dealing damage every 0.5 seconds over 12 seconds to the entire raid.

The damage from this ability starts out rather low, but the damage it deals increases by 15% each time it triggers.

Healers may want to assign cooldowns for each Frénésie dévorante, using their most potent cooldowns towards the end of the fight when the ability is dealing the most damage.

All players should be aware of this damage and be prepared to use survival cooldowns and consumables if they are hurt from other mechanics, especially if they have the Corrosion debuff from the acidic aqir.

Each time an dies, it leave behind a pool of Sang acide which deals high ticking damage to anyone standing within it.

This shouldn't change the strategy suggested above, players just need to make sure that they do not linger in any Sang acide pools that are nearby.

Sang acide pools will despawn after approximately 1 minute.

s leave Sang acide pools on the ground when they die.

Tek'risÉvolution accélérée

Tek'ris will cast Évolution accélérée on a randomly select . This only occurs whilst Tek'ris is in control of the hivemind.

This transforms the drone into an Ravageur aqir add. This transformation fully heals the add and increases its health and damage done by 450%.

The Ravager will not fixate a random player, instead it needs to be tanked.

It will frequently apply Ravage to the tank, dealing moderate physical damage every 2 seconds over 20 seconds.

As soon as the add has transformed, a tank should taunt it into melee range.

The add is easy to target as it does appear on the Boss Frame UI element.

Similarly to the Éruption instable, this add should be focused down as soon as possible, with DPS cleaving their damage off of the Ravager and onto the other drones.

Tank the Ravageur aqir next to the bosses. All DPS should focus it down!

Tek'risAnnulationAnnulationAnnulation explosive

This doesn't change the strategy used to deal with the mechanic, but instead punishes players more severely if they are accidentally hit by the Annulation explosive.

Ka'zirÉruption instable

Ka'zir will empower a random with Éruption instable as a set spawn. This only occurs whilst Ka'zir is in control of the Hivemind.

The randomly assigned add will gain 150% extra health and become immune to crowd control effects.

This add will be stationary and cast Éruption instable over 20 seconds.

If the cast completes, the add self destructs and deals a huge burst of damage to the entire raid.

All DPS should focus this add down whilst standing nearby as to funnel all other s towards the empowered add.

Do note that the add will have the Régénération buff, meaning that it needs to be bursted down once its health goes below 20%.

Stack on the Éruption instable marked add and nuke it down!

Mythic DifficultyMythic Hivemind Strategy Guide

There are two major changes on the Mythic version of this fight. Firstly, Aqir acide eggs spawn Flaque acides before hatching, which deal about 100K damage every 1.5 seconds to players standing in it. This slightly reduces the usable area to dodge the Aqir acide once they spawn. The Corrosion debuff, applied by the Aqir acide is also stronger on Mythic, causing players to take 50% increased damage, up from the 25% on Heroic.

The second change is to Vide résonnant, which now triggers Écho entropique. Écho entropique is a small puddle left behind after the detonation of Vide résonnant, and it needs to be dodged, otherwise it applies Annulation to the players who are hit.
