Garrison Invasion GuideBasics

Make sure the bosses are summoned by the leader of the group, whose garrison you are at. Only that person can use their item to summon. You cannot summon a boss at someone else's Garrison.

You can use bodyguards, etc. just like during a regular invasion.

The leader whose garrison you are at can use the invasion enhancement items (Fiole de rapidité durable, Cristal de récupération enchanté, and Cristal de givre enchanté) sold in your garrison just like during a regular invasion.

If you wipe on an invasion boss, you don't get a second chance with that same summoning item - you must acquire another one.

"Garrison Raid Defense" lockout will appear in your raid lockout list if you defeat this boss implying you can only get loot from these Garrison raid bosses once per week.

Abilities: Enchevêtrement, Horde de boguelins, and Spore soporifique.

Healers should pay attention to dispelling raid members who are slept by the spores.

Otherwise, avoid the entanglements and DPS/Tank as normal.

Gaur

Abilities: Invocation de goren fracacide, Plaquage terrestre, and Pointe runique.

Avoid the Goren and the Runic Spikes.

Healers use cooldowns during Earthen Slam.

Tanks will take significant damage during Runic Spikes.

Commandant Dro’gan

Abilities: Étreinte de chaînes, Saut de Fer, and Hache tourbillonnante.

Move away from the Iron Leap target (or move from others if you are targeted).

Move from the axe.

Run away with the chain in order to break it.

Dame Brûlechair

Abilities: Appel des flammes, Flammes accablantes, and Pluie de feu.

People who are getting the Overwhelming Flames debuff (visually it will be a circle around them), must get away from everyone else since when the debuff expires it damages everyone else in the circle.

Use mitigation cooldowns on the Overwhelming Flames target.

Move out of the Rain of Fire.

Annihilon

Abilities: Esprit asservi, Bombe de Vide, and Vide tourbillonnant.

Free the Mind Controlled people.

Don't stand in the shadow whirlwind.

Don't stand in the shadow bombs.

Seigneur mage Gogg’nathog

Abilities: Orbe arcanique, Éruption d’arcanes, and Énergie déchaînée.

Avoid the Arcane Orb.

Purge/dispel Arcane Surge.

Get away from others if you have Unleashed Energy.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, but my husband got the void prison at 93 from that beginner invasion quest. We got a raid to go to my level 3 garrison (I read somewhere that you could only summon the boss in a level 3 garrison), and my hubby was able to summon the boss in my garrison, and we downed it no problem.

You can get loot only once a week from garrison boss in case it is not that obvious.

How long do the items remain in your bags? Is it like the invasions where if you do not do them within that week they disappear or do they sit in your bags potentially indefinitely?

I received one last night (late Monday AEDT) and its still sitting in my bags currently (midday AEDT), but I'm anxious that it'll disappear after Tuesday night maintenance.

**UPDATE: The item remained in my bags after maintenance! Hooray!

From the regular invasions these tokens can drop even after you have done your weekly one that gives you the rewards. I received the Teluur drop off my third invasion of the week. I was working on my 50 invasion achievement. The main thing I want to know is the drop rate. I have not been able to find anything stating that.

How do you get invasions to happen at all. Been a level 100 for over 2 weeks and in 645 raid gear that whole time and no invasions. Completed all zones and 80-90% of the quests from garrisons.

For those who wonder if you can summon the boss on one character and get the kill on another for your Master and Commander achievement: you can.

How to go about it:

Ask your friend to make a group/raid and teleport to his garrison.
Summon the boss and then alt+F4.
Log in on the character you want the kill on.
Get invited to friend's group and teleport to his garrison.
Tag, kill, and loot.

I was unaware you could buy the missions from your Garrison's Quartermaster(by your stash). You need to spend resources on a Maximum of 3 missions. So far, I've only needed 3 on my main. Several alts have been 1 or 2. This information would have been very helpful having come late in the game and not knowing hardly anything.

This is probably a bug, but I just got the Banner drop, used it, was doing fine except aggro, feigned death to transfer aggro.... and he despawned. Very disappointing.

I'm after my last three bosses for the achievement to kill all the summoned bosses.

Getting the invasion of your choice (to try and get a specific boss item drop) is easy, buy item e.g. Lost Veil Anzu) from quartermaster, go do it, hand in the quest and the invasion will appear. I've done this many times and it's always popped the invasion quest after one hand in (for 800 apexis crystals).

The invasion is fairly easily soloed to platinum (I sometimes get one or two guildies as well to pop a toon in my garrison - they do not need to do anything at all - but they get the rewards and possibly a boss summon item). I do this on maybe 10 toons a week and am close to the 50 invasions achievement on my main. Let's call it near 100 invasions total.

I've got all the mounts, nearly all the transmog loot, many many items for the AH quest (some sell for good gold so it's not a total loss)

Numbers of times a summon boss item has dropped = ZERO. I now assume the chance for the item to drop to be the same as rare mounts, like 1%. At best. It may be lower ... until ones drops I cannot calculate any odds. The corollary of course is that I have not got any of the boss drop loot either (less of an issue, no achieve, but as a completionist, it irks me :-)

Other than repeating ad infinitum (keep in mind can only do once per week), I see no way to get the kill all summoned bosses achievement! Obviously I should have made this a focus when WoD was current :-(

As of 2021, I'm not sure what the drop rate of these items is, but, I've been getting platinum score on most of my invasions, and have yet to receive any of these summoning items. My garrison is level 3 in case that is required (not sure if it is). Anyone still keeping tabs on this? Could anyone provide an update regarding this? Thanks in advance.
