These Vents violents last for 10 seconds, and occur every 90 seconds, whether players are in or out of combat

As there are many mechanics in the Eye of Azshara that are sensitive to positioning, this can make some bosses very difficult

The Lady Hatecoil encounter has the most position-sensitive mechanics, which is why players should kill her second, before Vents violents are active

After killing a third boss, the storm intensifies, causing Foudres to appear near players every few seconds

Foudre first appears as small watery swirl; after 3 seconds, a bolt of lightning strikes the ground, dealing moderate to heavy damage to players within 4 yards

Warlord ParjeshNotable Trash Mobs

A Tisse-tempête glissefiel and Guerrier glissefiel, just to the right after the party drops down one level

A lone Ecraseur glissefiel, patrolling the horizontal path in front of players as they drop down the next level

A Oracle glissefiel and Hatecoil Stormweaver next to some tents close to Warlord Parjesh's arena

The two Hatecoil Warriors and one Hatecoil Oracle just inside Warlord Parjesh's arena

Entaille corallienne is a cone attack that will place a bleed on all players in front of the Warrior

Tanks should take care to face the Warriors away from the party

When a Hatecoil Warrior falls below 50% health, he will Enrager, increasing the speed of his melee attacks

Hatecoil Warriors are low-priority targets when fighting this trash

The Stormweavers attack the tank with Souffle foudroyant; this is interruptible, but should be low priority

Stormweavers will cast Arc éclair at a random target, causing heavy damage that chains to other players

Stormweavers will also cast Tempête, a 12-second channel that deals heavy Nature damage to all players within 10 yards of the Stormweaver

Tempête and Arc éclair should be interrupted

If Tempête is not interrupted, the tank should drag other enemies out of the Tempête effect, and the party should follow

Puissant heurtoir

Puissant heurtoir is a strong Physical attack that can be mitigated by armor and active mitigation

Following each Puissant heurtoir, the Crusher will begin to cast Piétinement tonitruant

At the end of this long cast, Piétinement tonitruant will deal moderate damage to all players and knock them down briefly

Piétinement tonitruant should be interrupted

Shellbacks can be very dangerous for the tank's survivability, especially if the party is already fighting a large pack of Hatecoil naga

The Wandering Shellbacks will occasionally protect themselves with Carapace épineuse, a 6-second channel that cannot be interrupted

During Carapace épineuse, the Shellback takes reduced damage from player attacks, and will retaliate against incoming attacks with Carapace épineuse damage

Players can stun the Shellback during Carapace épineuse to break the effect, or can prioritize other targets while the Shellback is channeling

When targeted by Lance perforante, move so the spear is intercepted by one of the adds

If there are no adds alive for Lance perforante, move to a clear spot and use a damage-reduction cooldown

Avoid Déferlante damage by side-stepping the boss as he casts it, or backing out of melee range

Interrupt the Crestrider's Restauration or the Shellbreaker's Rugissement puissant when possible

Most damage in the fight is single-target and spiky

Be sure to top up the players debuffed with Jet de lance

If a player is struck by Lance perforante, use strong single-target healing, HoTs, or a damage-reduction cooldown to keep them alive

When targeted by Lance perforante, move so the spear is intercepted by one of the adds

If there are no adds alive for Lance perforante, move to a clear spot and use a damage-reduction cooldown

Avoid Déferlante damage by side-stepping the boss as he casts it, or backing out of melee range

Players struck by Déferlantes will require heavy healing

The tank will require heavy healing, and potentially external CDs, during Parjesh's Enrage

The Hatecoil Arcanists' abilities are all spells that can be interrupted

Geyser aquatique causes water spouts to form under players' feet, knocking them into the air and dealing moderate damage

The Arcanist will cast Rebond des Arcanes on her current target, dealing moderate Arcane damage that will arc to other players within 5 yards

She will also cast Métamorphose : poisson on a random DPS player, transforming them into a fish for 8 seconds

While all of these can be interrupted, Geyser aquatique is the most disruptive ability and should have the highest interrupt priority

Players can spread out to nullify most of the Rebond des Arcanes damage

Healers can dispel Métamorphose : poisson from the affected player

Animated Storm adds will cast Jet d’eau, creating a wandering spout of water near a random player

The Jet d’eau will damage and knock back any player it encounters, so players should move to avoid it

Hatecoil Wavebinders attack their target with Trait d’eau, and occasionally buff themselves with Bouclier de bulles

Bouclier de bulles absorbs incoming damage, and increases the Wavebinder's Haste while active

If players break through Bouclier de bulles, the Wavebinder will be affected by Réaction, taking double damage while stunned

Alternatively, the Bouclier de bulles can be removed by offensive dispel abilities, but this does not trigger Réaction

The Wavebinder will also Appel des eaux, summoning a Elémentaire d’eau

The Water Elementals attack their target with Boule d’eau

The priority in these packs should be to kill the Animated Storms, then the Wavebinder, then the Arcanist, and just allow passive cleave and AoE to kill the Water Elementals

15 seconds after Nova statique, Lady Hatecoil will cast Éclair focalisé

When the cast finishes, all players will be struck by lightning so powerful that it will destroy nearby Sand Dunes

Players should stand in the water when Lady Hatecoil begins to cast Éclair focalisé

Éclair focalisé also triggers Surplus de foudre if any players are within 5 yards of each other

As the combined damage of these two effects can be fatal, players should spread out during the Éclair focalisé cast

Like the Saltsea Droplet trash, the Saltsea Globules only attack with melee

When the Globules die, they detonate in a Éclaboussure aqueuse

The tank should taunt in the Globules that form near ranged players, and gain threat on the Globules that form in melee

Ranged players can kite their Globules in to the tank, so long as they do not do so while Lady Hatecoil is casting Éclair focalisé

The debuff does nothing to the player for its 12-second duration

When Malédiction de la sorcière expires or is dispelled, it creates a large cone in the direction that the player is facing

This cone deals no damage, but will knock back any players standing in it

The knockback can be particularly disruptive during Nova statique or Éclair focalisé

Players should take care to face away from other party members as Malédiction de la sorcière is about to expire

Players who can remove curses (Shamans, Druids) can remove Malédiction de la sorcière, but should be careful only to do so if the cone will not be disruptive

The cone will also destroy lesser enemies in its path, so can be used to eliminate the Saltsea Globules

This can be risky, and is best controlled by the melee DPS or tank

Nova statique

Be sure to stand on a Sand Dune while Lady Hatecoil casts Nova statique, to avoid being stunned

Move away from the Sand Dunes and other players while Lady Hatecoil casts Éclair focalisé

Taunt or gain threat on the Saltsea Globules following the Convocation de tempête cast

Aim your Malédiction de la sorcière at any remaining Saltsea Globules as it expires

Do not leave Lady Hatecoil's shallow pool to stand on the shore, as this will cause heavy Tonnerre crépitant damage

Be sure to stand on a Sand Dune while Lady Hatecoil casts Nova statique, to avoid being stunned

Move away from the Sand Dunes and other players while Lady Hatecoil casts Éclair focalisé

Kite Saltsea Globules to the tank if you generate threat on them

Dispel the Static Nova debuff from any player that failed to reach a Sand Dune in time

Be sure to stand on a Sand Dune while Lady Hatecoil casts Nova statique, to avoid being stunned

Move away from the Sand Dunes and other players while Lady Hatecoil casts Éclair focalisé

Kite Saltsea Globules to the tank if you generate threat on them

Turn away from other players when Malédiction de la sorcière is about to expire, to avoid knocking them back

Do not leave Lady Hatecoil's shallow pool to stand on the shore, as this will cause heavy Tonnerre crépitant damage

Heroic & Mythic DifficultyMousson

The Mousson is a small tornado that will slowly follow the nearest player

If the Mousson touches the player, it will knock them high into the air

If the Mousson reaches a Sand Dune, it will destroy the Sand Dune (and the Mousson)

Players being fixated by a Mousson should kite the Mousson away from Sand Dunes, or kite it over a distant Sand Dune to despawn it

The crabs attack their primary target with Pinces acérées, dealing moderate Physical damage and leaving a mild DoT effect

Pinces acérées can stack, and with five Seaspray Crabs to apply it, the tank may eventually reach high stacks

Between the Pinces acérées stacking DoT and five crabs' worth of melee attacks, the tank can take heavy damage

AoE stuns or other CC methods are useful for reducing the tank's damage taken

The Hardshell attacks with Griffes terribles, causing each melee attack to deal additional damage split across all players within 5 yards of its target

If the melee attack is Parried, Dodged, or somehow Misses, this Griffes terribles damage still occurs

Non-tank players should avoid being within 5 yards of the tank to avoid taking this damage

The Mak'rana Hardshell will also cast Carapace blindée, applying a powerful damage absorption shield

If the Carapace blindée shield is broken through by damage, it will shatter into Mitraille de carapace blindée, dealing heavy damage to the entire party

Once cast, the Carapace blindée cannot be removed or dispelled

Players should interrupt the Carapace blindée cast to prevent the shield and eventual Mitraille de carapace blindée backlash

The Siltwalkers periodically Projection de sable at their primary target

Projection de sable deals heavy periodic damage to players in front of it, and has a range of 30 yards

Non-tanks should try never to be in front of the Siltwalkers

Tanks should side-step the Projection de sable to avoid its dangerous damage

Siltwalkers will also debuff a random player (tanks are eligible) with Tempête de sable

While Tempête de sable deals no damage, it does apply Sables aveuglants to nearby players, reducing their chance to hit by 33%

Affected players should move away from the party until dispelled

Tempête de sable is a Magic debuff, so healers should dispel it quickly

Tempête bouillonnanteTempête chaotique

Each of these channeled spells summons bouncing lightning bolts that deal moderate damage to players standing in their impact zone

The impact zones are marked by large beams of light and ground effects

Tempête bouillonnante's lightning bolts always bounce in a widening cone in the direction the Hydra is facing

Non-tank players should stay away from the Hydra's head, and the tank can simply side-step

Tempête chaotique's lightning bolts will bounce to random locations near players

During this channel, players should be sure to avoid standing in the Tempête chaotique's areas of effect

After two seconds, the Crachat de poison projectile will land in these locations, dealing light to moderate damage to players within the area of effect

Players should move out of the Crachat de poison zones before the projectile lands

This can be particularly difficult during Vents violents

Blessure toxique

Blessure toxique lasts for 6 seconds, and causes the target to drop a Flaque toxique at their feet every second

Flaque toxique deals moderate damage, and, if stacked in the same location, can be quickly fatal

These Flaque toxiques will persist for the remainder of the fight

The affected player should move away from the party quickly and drop Flaque toxiques in a safe location

Stutter-stepping will allow the Flaque toxiques to overlap, so they are less restrictive of players' movement

Submerger

When Serpentrix re-emerges, two red Rejeton flamboyant de l’hydre heads will also emerge from random sinkholes

These Blazing Hydra Spawns deal party-wide AoE with Nova flamboyante

DPS players should quickly switch to the Blazing Hydra Spawns and kill them, generally focusing one down before switching to the other

Interrupting Nova flamboyante will help the healer handle the incoming party damage

The tank should always chase the main Serpentrix head during this phase, to avoid Saccager

Ranged DPS with interrupts, or the tank, should interrupt the first Saccager if Serpentrix spawns far away from the party

Stay alert for additional trash mobs that may be pulled as players move to the Hydra Spawn!

If affected by Blessure toxique, move away from other players to drop the Flaque toxiques, and keep moving until Blessure toxique expires

When Serpentrix Submergers, locate the nearest Blazing Hydra Spawn (red head) and swap to it

Be mindful of trash mobs around the periphery of the encounter area, and stay within range of the healer when possible

During this phase, if you have a ranged interrupt and see Serpentrix casting Saccager, interrupt it

Interrupt Nova flamboyante as frequently as possible

Once one Blazing Hydra Spawn is dead, switch to the other Blazing Hydra Spawn and kill it before returning to Serpentrix

Use personal damage-reduction cooldowns while both Blazing Hydra Spawns are alive

If targeted by Crachat de poison, move out of its area of effect

If affected by Blessure toxique, move away from other players to drop the Flaque toxiques, and keep moving until Blessure toxique expires

During the start of each Submerger phase, the party will require heavy AoE/spread healing

Stand as centrally as possible to keep the whole party within range, and use throughput cooldowns to keep the party alive

Heroic & Mythic DifficultySubmerger

The new Hydra Spawn is an Rejeton arcanique de l’hydre, and is purple in color

Arcane Hydra Spawn repeatedly casts Déflagration des Arcanes, dealing light Arcane damage to a randomly-selected player

Each successful cast of Déflagration des Arcanes grants a stack of Charge arcanique to the Arcane Hydra Spawn

For each stack of Charge arcanique on the Arcane Hydra Spawn, Déflagration des Arcanes will deal 50% additional damage

Interrupt Déflagration des Arcanes when possible

The Skrog Wavecrasher in the mouth of the cave leading from Serpentrix to King Deepbeard can be skipped by running along either extreme side of the cave walls

Several packs of Saltscale murlocs can be skipped once outside of the cave, by steering wide past them

These murlocs debuff their target with Morsure déchirante, increasing incoming damage by 10%

Tanks should pick the murlocs up quickly to prevent them from dealing fatal damage to non-tank players

Morsure déchirante will stack, causing the tank to take increasing damage while fighting these murloc packs

Use AoE stuns, as well as tank and healer cooldowns, to ensure the tank survives

Esclave mer-amère

Bitterbrine Slaves will poison their target with a variety of poison effects

Two Slaves will use each of the three poison abilities, and these poisons do stack
Toxine léthargique will reduce movement speed by 10% per stack

Secousse deals moderate damage to each player, and will also splash onto other players within 5 yards

Players should spread out more than 5 yards apart to avoid taking extra Secousse damage from their allies

Secousse also creates a patch of crackled earth at each player's feet

After 4 seconds, a more powerful Répliques will occur in these locations

Avoid taking Répliques damage by moving out of the crackled earth graphic as soon as it appears

After the Répliques damage is dealt, the patch of crackled earth will disappear, and that area will no longer be dangerous

SecousseAppel des mers

Appel des mers summons a large number of rapidly moving pools of water throughout the encounter area

Players standing in these pools will take light Frost damage every 0.3 seconds

Due to the number of Appel des mers pools, and the speed with which they move, it is impractical to avoid all of them

If you are on low health or if several pools are converging upon your location, move

Otherwise, the damage is not high enough to worry about dodging these pools

Gaseous Bubble

Stand in Aftershock to deplete the shield

Bulles gazeusesSecousse

This spell places Bulles gazeuses around two randomly-chosen non-tank players

The Bulles gazeuses absorb a large amount of incoming damage, and last for 20 seconds or until the affected player has taken enough damage to exhaust this shield

If a Bulles gazeuses shield lasts the full 20 seconds, it will trigger a Explosion gazeuse as it fades

The Explosion gazeuse deals extremely heavy damage to the entire party, and can potentially cause a wipe

If you are affected by Bulles gazeuses, you must purposefully take damage in order to break through the shield and prevent Explosion gazeuse.

Don't panic!

There will always be a Secousse before your Bulles gazeuses will expire

Wait for the Secousse to occur, and then stand in the Répliques graphic

The Secousse/Répliques combo is enough to break the Bulles gazeuses

Do not bother chasing Appel des mers puddles to take enough damage - they deal too little damage, and you will lose a lot of healing or DPS uptime doing so

Another convenient way to break the Bulles gazeuses is to stand in the Foudre, but this only works if your party is killing King Deepbeard fourth

Bulles gazeusesHeurt terrestre

Heurt terrestre has a 2.5-second cast time, and creates a large zone centered on the tank

When the cast finishes, any player standing in this zone will take extremely high damage

Raz-de-marée sweeps in a circle across the island, and will damage players who pass through it

Tornade mystique spawns at a random location near players, and will move erratically in that general area

A player struck by a Tornade mystique will take moderate damage and be launched into the air, likely taking Falling damage upon landing

These effects are summoned periodically throughout the fight and never despawn

As the fight continues, it will become increasingly hard to avoid these effects

If you must make a choice of which mechanic to stand in, Raz-de-marée is safer than Tornade mystique

The targeted player should move to the edge of the island, careful to avoid the Raz-de-marée and Tornade mystique mechanics

The healer should dispel the Bombe des Arcanes when the targeted player is near the edge of the island

The tank should only soak Profondeurs écrasantes as a last resort

Players struck by Tornade mystique will receive a stack of Résonance magique

Résonance magique increases the amount of damage dealt by Raz-de-marée, Tornade mystique, Bombe des Arcanes's detonation, and Foudre

It is very important to avoid as many of these environmental effects as possible

Restless Tides will cast Ressac when players first engage them, dealing extremely heavy damage to the party with each tick

Since there are two of the Restless Tides, this damage will be fatal if the party just rushes in to battle

The party should stand far back, on the path, and allow the tank to run in and trigger the Ressac casts

The tank can use a powerful defensive cooldown to survive the damage, or back off out of range of it

Once the Restless Tides finish channeling Ressac, the tank can pull one back to the party to kill

Players can then move in to defeat the other Restless Tides near Shellmaw

Shellmaw is buffed with a Traînée corrosive, and leaves pools of corrosive slime as he moves

Players who stand in the Traînée corrosive suffer strong periodic damage

Like the Gritslime Snails, Shellmaw also attacks players with Bave abrasive

Bave abrasive damages players in front of Shellmaw, causing them to take more damage and deal less damage

The tank can outrange this during the Bave abrasive spellcast, and melee DPS should ensure they are safely to Shellmaw's side without standing in Traînée corrosive

Hello,

I´m willing to share some information i just found out, and i dont see in this padge, when i went to this dungeon for completing my pilar of creation quest, my group and i found 2 chest with an item, each with 200 artifact power and pretty easy to get. I dont know if its rare spawn or always its here, but its a worth to share the information.

I have to play on the lowest graphics settings due to my computer, and I struggle to see the Poison Spit from Serpentix. Can anyone describe what it looks like or post a screenshot?

There is a slight inaccuracy on this guide. Serpentix does NOT have two "red" Blazing Hydra Spawns, there is a red one and a purple one. Only the red one drops blazing, so it should be prioritized over purple.

Also, thanks for the note about seagulls. Seagulls have caused me (Hunter Marksman) more problems than the boss itself, especially if you're still progressing armor and somewhat squishy as is my case. It's trivially easy for a team to take out the gulls. Just do it. It's faster than a wipe. Stop being elitist snobs and suggesting that you should simply not pull them. It takes less energy to manage them before the fight, than to rage quit after a wipe.

Some additional notes on dealing with the bosses on 10+ Mythic with the Tyrannical modifier.

I recommend killing Lady Hatecoil and Serpentrix first. That way you don't have winds pushing you around for those two fights where being pushed around can be particularly troublesome. That does mean some backtracking and lost time, so advanced groups may want to use the normal order.

Warlord Parjesh
His Crashing Wave charge and the resulting Quicksand is easily lethal. We found it useful to have him tanked facing a wall so he would always charge a short distance and make only a small area dangerous.
It is of course very important that his spears all end up hitting an add, not a player.

Lady Hatecoil
The Focused Lightning attack is heavily damaging, but not lethal so long as everyone is at high health. With the increased boss health the fight might last long enough that you start to run out of sand islands if players are careless and allow them to be destroyed.

Serpentrix
The toxic puddles created by the toxic wound debuff are very painful. You can minimise the area they fill by having the debuffed player always move to just past the edge of the last puddle they dropped rather than running at full speed. Try to leave some clear paths so people can still move around. With the extra boss health it's easy to end up filling much of the area with puddles before the fight is over. Prioritise the blue head (it gets a stacking buff from casting its attack), then red, then back to green.

If you fight Serpentrix before the winds start, be aware that the seagulls are still there! They're flying high in the air, and may still be hit by some AoE attacks.

King Deepbeard
Quake is very painful, and remember that each time he casts it the cracks left over from previous casts will also become active and cause damage to anyone stood on them. It may be useful to periodically move the boss so that melee have a relatively clear space to operate in. Standing on a crack during Quake is a good way to quickly burn through the bubble.

Wrath of Azshara
Even with perfect execution the whole party will be taking significant and constant damage from Heaving Sands. The healer can expect to have their group-wide healing pushed to the limit. It's important for the group not to spread out too far while dodging attacks as forcing the healer to chase players down will likely lower their output too much and lead to deaths. The group should gradually rotate around the boss once there are too many tornadoes in the present area.

Important note, especially for high level mythic keystones with the fortified affix:

When Skrog Tidestompers channel Massive Quake, the Quake patches will spawn Murlocs.

This is not mentioned in the guide. It can be very dangerous and cause wipes on the Wavecrasher + Tidestomper pull right before King Deepbeard if the Tidestomper isn't prioritized, and the Murlocs aren't picked up.

This guide is amazing, Im a noob tank who use these guides to build my knowledge on these dungeons to start running Mythic+.
Yesterday I ran my first Mythic +2 EoA, and after defeating all the bosses, the clock was still running and the loot was not there. So one of the DPS started running heading to Serpentrix area and we kill several groups of mobs we didnt touch before until the clock stops and we get the credit.
By the time I asked them why those mobs? how do they knew which ones were missing... they all left the group and I got wife aggro, so couldn´t ask there... So, anyone know what happened?

In case anyone is curious, I tried to solo mythic eye of azshara with my 120 discipline priest ilvl 386, but couldn't do Seigneur de guerre Parjesh and therefore couldn't get the barrier down around Courroux d'Azshara. Everything else was easy.
