Mort subite triggers often and should be used immediately unless overcapping rage.

Pros: Powerful AoE cooldowns, good mobility, easily swaps between single and multitarget capabilities.

Cons: Very flat single-target damage profile, which does not capitalize on damage phases.

Coup de tonnerre effectively replaces Whirlwind, while the enhanced Explosion de tonnerre has a higher priority and increased single-target damage due to the extra lightning strike caused by Cieux crépitants. Making use of Thunder Blast charges is an important gameplay element, though Thunder Clap itself also becomes a powerful ability during Avatar.

Speccing into multi-target capability is as simple as switching Régénération enragée for Tourbillon amélioré, allowing all other rotational abilities to be cleaved.

Pros: Stronger multitarget capabilities, better defensive bonuses, and a great audio/visual theme.

Cons: Weaker single-target damage and less burst AoE for short-lived groups of targets.

Best Fury Warrior Mythic+ and Delve Talent Builds

Coup de tonnerre is mainly used to enable cleave, though it retains a high priority in high target situations, during Avatar, or with Explosion de tonnerre procs.

Destruction frénétique is not recommended, as it is functionally impossible to avoid applying the Improved Whirlwind buff in single-target situations.

Pros: Very competitive sustained multitarget damage, greater survivability.

Cons: Chaotic rotation during cooldowns, less single-target/boss damage.

Bourreau is now a buff on the player instead of the target and no longer consumed by using Execute, so it does not need to be explicitly tracked and targets can be swapped freely without fear of losing value.

In the current pre-patch, Bloodthirst remains a low-priority button, and Reap the Storm is skipped in favor of more direct damage from Raging Blow, though this will change in a later update.

Pros: Stronger boss damage.

Cons: Very weak sustained multitarget damage.

Thanks for adding the sim to the tier talents, it really helps see how close each talent is, tier 3 is so close you could pick what you like, but tier 5 want to stick with what's recommended.

As of 9.0.1, the Fury Warrior Talents page needs more editing... it frequently still refers to the old leveling ranges (>60), and the simulation values for each row are obviously incorrect after the squish.

So. simming as a Necrolord, Cruelty and Reckless Abandon is simming my char much higher. than Frothing berserker/Anger Management.

Still underperforming tho.

Also mastery value is equal to crit, i believe because of Dragon Roar crits.
Maybe its my equips overall.

Thank you very much for writing this guide, Archimtiros.

I highly, highly recommend adding a 4th build called "Soloing Elites" or a similar name of your choosing, because while the "Questing" or "Torghast" builds work fairly well for most other classes in soloing elites, this is far from the case when it comes to Fury Warriors.

And my recommendation comes from a personal experience of suffering and frustration, and even coming close to ditching the Warrior class! As a returning player, especially when it comes to the Warrior class, I naturally follow guides like this to ease myself into the process of leveling and gearing up a class. So, I've been using the recommended "Questing" build the whole time on my Fury Warrior, and I suffered for it a lot in The Maw and Korthia when my Warrior was slightly undergeared. And I'm humble and pragmatic enough to realize that I shouldn't be experimenting with builds when people who know better and have more experience have shared their experience in the form of guides and recommendations. So, I really, really needed a Fury Warrior guide to tell me that I shouldn't be using the same Questing build when trying to solo elites or quest in challenging areas when undergeared, then recommend a different build for soloing elites or questing when undergeared.

Fury's "Soloing Elites" build is quite different from its Questing build:

Sudden Death
Impending Victory
Massacre/Frenzy (covenant-dependent, Venthyr -> Massacre, Others -> Frenzy)
Warpaint
Cruelty
Dragon Roar/Bladestorm (Bladestorm can provide immunity to CCs if that's an issue)
Anger Management

PvP talents: Battle Trance, Enduring Rage, Master and Commander.

It's a sort of hybrid build that takes many Dungeon talents, and Impending Victory is pretty much mandatory for certain elites or when undergeared.

Reckless Abandon Talent has caused my Fury Warrior to Charge without me hitting the charge ability on my action bar! This has caused my death in several fights on a consistent basis in Sanctum of Domination Normal and Heroic. I was informed of this problem by another Fury Warrior in the RAID who did mostly Mythic + Dungeons. I thanked him for the information and promptly switched to Anger Management Talent

Would you consider putting up Single-Minded Fury versions of these specs? Even if allocating one or two talents for smf isn't optimal, some of us prefer one handed weapons. Like, if it's a 7% dps loss, I don't care. Most player skillgaps are between 10-50% anyways, so not having the most optimal of optimal builds doesn't bother me. I would just prefer having the 'best' version of what I would like to play, even if that is less damage than the thing I don't want to play (TG)

There appears to be a small error when importing the Titanic rage build. It misses a point in Sidearm causing the last three rows not be be filled.

I'm confused why I only have 27 Warlock points and 24 Demonology points at level 60. Do we not get all the points at once when you hit level 60?
Would like to know as currently it puts me off playing as I feel I'm talentless :-)

I am hardcore not convinced by Anger Managment. Empowered Raging Blow (whatever new name it has) is just so powerfull, and you just spam that thing. It's basically always up. It's so good I'm not even sure what to do with execute except as a filler rage generator.

Would anyone be willing to write up a SMF build? After playing classic SoD, just really like the play style and feel of dual wielding 1h weapons again. I know it isn't the optimum spec/build, but it is a very fun play style.

In the explanation of the Slayer M+ tree you write that Bladestorm on itself is powerful but the extra Bloodthirst's of Puissance du champion can also cleave.
I guess you wanted to write the extra Bloodthirst's of Déchaînement can also cleave? Feels like you linked the wrong talent in that part.

What happened to the diagrams that showed which two specc.'s combined to get the Hero descriptions...? IIRC, at the launch Event, they showed a triangle with each sides showing the title of the "Hero combo".

Why tell us to use Slayer (which is based around Bladestorm) & then select Avatar as the final Fury Skill instead of Bladestorm.....which is required for Slayer?

There's a mistake in the single target build? (2st build) , you've not selected bladestorm in the talents, so the hero talents don't work?

the recommended Slayer build states that Bladestorm should be used on CD, but in the talent tree, Avatar is chosen instead of Bladestorm. small error, but thought i might point it out.

Error Note 11-FEB: Slayer talents require Bladestorm and Avatar is selected in the talents window.
