Maximize Wild Growth & Swiftmend Casts: In addition to being reasonable healing casts, both Swiftmend and Wild Growth have a ton of extra effects like spawning a Grove Guardian (which itself buffs all of our healing), Reforestation, Everbloom, Verdant Infusion and more. Swiftmend is a bigger priority, and it's fine to sit on Wild Growth if there is no damage going out.

Utilize Abundance: Put Récupération out on the group before or as damage hits so that your follow-up Rétablissement casts are free and will always Crit. This is the heart of the Restoration Druid playstyle and most of our healing and mana efficiency starts here.

Use Major Cooldowns: Cast Convoquer les esprits / Incarnation: Tree of Life and Tranquillité very often. Pre-plan them before tough fights so that you can line them up with difficult moments in the fight.

Begin your Récupération ramp ~15 seconds before damage hits.

Hit Prompte guérison followed by Récupération. The Prompte guérison procs Ame de la forêt, which will give you two free superpowered Récupération buffs on the follow-up cast.

The Prompte guérison and Croissance sauvage casts automatically proc Gardiennes du Bosquet which will significantly buff your healing.

Convoke is your short-cooldown burst heal, and it has about a 50% chance to proc a mini-Epanouissement which will extend your Récupération buffs.

Cast Rétablissement until your Abondance stacks wear off. These will have a 100% Crit chance and cost basically no mana. We'll be tracking Abondance with the cooldown manager. Each Regrowth cast will also heal everyone else with Regrowth due to the Bonté de la nature talent.

The number of Regrowth to cast here depends on the fight and your Abundance stacks. As your Rejuvenation buffs start to run out, your Regrowths will rise in cost but you'll also have more Regrowth out for Bonté de la nature value so you are usually good to continue if the raid is still taking heavy damage.

Ramp Timing

Maximize how often you can cast your big cooldowns.

Try not to use them during periods of low damage.

Avoid casting too many Rétablissements with low Abondance stacks.

Make sure you cast Innervation on cooldown. Cast your first when you're at 80% mana and then whenever it comes back. You'll want to cast Innervation when you do not have high Abondance stacks, and you'll mostly cast Récupération during it.

Avoid any gaps in your rotation. You should always be casting a spell and Restoration is a very high APM healing spec. Any wasted time is time you could have spent casting Colère to regenerate mana.

Start prepping your party for the damage 5-6 seconds in advance. Eventually, as you grow more confident, you'll get away with committing fewer GCDs to each big damage event, but when starting out, play safe. Make sure Efflorescence is down, and that Fleur de vies is active.

Continue prepping by putting Récupération on the group, prioritizing your DPS since Tanks aren't often phased by this type of AoE damage.

Cast Croissance sauvage as the boss begins its cast.

With Fleur de vie on allies A, cast Prompte guérison on B, and then cast Rétablissement on whoever is most injured. Follow with further Rétablissement casts to stabilize the group's Health.

Cast 1-2 Récupération on the target. It's not usually worth moving Lifebloom to a target since you'll lose all 3 stacks.

As the damage starts to tick, cast Prompte guérison followed by Rétablissement.

Follow up with more Rétablissements, and use Rapidité de la nature if required.

Cast Marque du fauve (our raid buff) - every pull.

Make sure Relation symbiotique is active on another player. Any squishy DPS player is a fine choice.

Make sure you have a Flask on - applied every 1-2 hours.

Make sure you have a Food buff - either every pull or every hour depending on the food.

Make sure you have a Huile de phénix thalassienne on your weapon - applied every two hours.

(Optional) Make sure you have a Rune d’amélioration touchée par le Vide on - every pull.

Start casting Récupération a few seconds before the fight begins if there is relevant damage at the start.

Cast Rôder before combat to get into stealth. This will also greatly buff our first ability cast.

Open with a Griffure on the highest health enemy.

Continue applying rake to different enemies in the pack. When you have 5 combo points press Déchirure instead.

Once everyone has Griffure, cast Balayage (3+ targets) or Lambeau (1-2 targets) instead.

On a single target, cast Morsure féroce instead of Déchirure if the target already has one.

Wild Growth, useless, Regrowth nerfed into uselessness, rejuv useless unless you have Soul of the forest talent, Life Bloom useless, none of these spells are the same spells are what they originally was. Im was amazed they brought back Nourish and Mark of the Wild, i truly was, then only to my disdain, i realize ITS ONLY FOR PVP/WARMODE. Good Job Blizzard You brought back the Only buff druids had, then completely changed it and locked it behind a pvp wall, where its is A useless REDUCTION TO DOT DAMAGE? REALLY! But GJ on removing Healing Touch then bring Nourish back amazing truly amazing.

Excellent guide, thank you @Jaydaa. I would like to ask for more info on the Rotation page on the spells that should be used together, particularly the Covenant abilities. A guildie told me I should always use Convoke with Flourish and I came here to find out more, but didn't.

I’d love to see some guide like this for M+. I’ve just decided to go Resto Druid on DF and this guide was pretty descriptive and insightful . I just loved it!

The guide says it will be updated with a kitty dps rotation for M+ in a few days but its been a couple months from what I can tell, I would love to get that information

For the people wanting kitty dps, the guide writer put one up on their site but it's basically maintain kitty dots, rip, thrash, rake at all times on as many targets as possible, along with sunfire/moonfire. Here's the link https://questionablyepic.com/restodruid-catweaving/
