IronBois

Iron is passively generated over time once you capture the Drywhisker Mine. The rate will increase as you upgrade your Great Hall.
Collect all your passively generated Iron by clicking on the chest near your Great Hall.

FerFer

Build and upgrade buildings in your base.

Purchase troops from the Barracks or Demolishers from the Workshop.

Trade for buffs from the Altar of Storms.

Upgrade the weapons and armor of troops from the War Mill.

Purchase additional support from the Circle of the Elements or Newstead.

Wood

Unlike Iron, Wood is not passively generated.

Players can head to Hatchet Ridge to pick up an Axe which will allow players to chop down trees, similar to the Lumber Mill building from the WoD Garrisons.

Alternatively, Orc Peons will be chopping down trees and Wood can be collected from nearby piles.

Bois

Build and upgrade buildings in your base.

Trade for buffs from the Altar of Storms.

Upgrade the weapons and armor of troops from the War Mill.

Essence of Storms

Right before your next big push, you should head back to the Altar of Storms and turn in for the 5-minute buff Appel des tempêtes.

This buff increases your health, damage, and healing by 150%.

It also increases the damage and health of any nearby allies as well!

BuildingsGreat Hall

Great Hall - Required to construct other buildings. Captain must be defeated to capture the Great Hall.

Stronghold - Requires 380 Fer and 180 Bois to upgrade from the Great Hall. Can be constructed after the Altar of Storms and Armory are built.
Increases number of peons collecting Iron

Increases rate of unit production from Barracks

Unlocks commander specific unit from Barracks

Train Grunts - The backbone of your army. Assault enemy locations and help you to capture the battlefield. Costs 20 Fer.

Train Axe Throwers - Agile ranged troops able to deal great damage from a distance. Costs 30 Fer.

Train Shaman - Powerful casters who draw their strength from elemental spirits. Useful to quickly heal nearby troops. Costs 50 Fer.
Can only be recruited when the Circle of Elements is captured.

Can only be recruited when Newstead is captured.

Players can purchase stacks of the buff Pouvoir galvanisant, up to 10 stacks, for 10 resources per stack.

Alternatively, lucky players who receive an Essence des tempêtes can trade it in at the Altar for the Appel des tempêtes buff increasing your health, damage and healing by 150% and increasing any nearby allies health and damage as well.

Capturing a Base

However, you will not be able to start capturing the flag until the nearly Named NPC has been defeated.

Once the nearby NPC boss has been defeated, you can click on the flag to start a long cast time that will be interrupted by any damage taken.

Completing the cast will capture the base for the Horde and provide the Horde with any benefits.

Enemy Retaking a Base

The Alliance does not need to cast on the Flag to take it back.

Tthe Alliance can take back bases by killing your objective lieutenant.

BasesGreat Hall

Players will construct other buildings here.

Players can obtain a Parchemin de Portail de ville to teleport back to the Great Hall on a 15-minute cooldown.

Players can collect their passively obtained ore from the Chest near the Great Hall.

West PathHatchet RidgeNewstead

Capturing Newstead unlocks the ability to purchase powerful Wolf Rider troops from the Barracks.

It also allows you to purchase a Kodo Rider from Newstead for 60 Iron.
Purchasing a Kodo Rider, allows you to mount a Kodo with a set of new Abilities for a period of time.

East PathDrywhisker MineCircle of the Elements

Capturing the Circle of Elements unlocks the ability to purchase Shaman troops from the Barracks, giving your troop pushes more sustain!

It also allows you to purchase an Elemental Spirit for 50 Iron.
The Elemental Spirit will give you a friendly Elemental which will continue to push down the East lane.

Center PathNorthfolk CrossingHigh Perch

Capturing High Perch allows Flight Paths to other locations allowing quick travel.

After Demolishers are released, they will park just outside High Perch and start to destroy the Siege Towers defending Valorcall Pass.

Valorcall Pass

In order to capture Valorcall Pass, players must construct the Workshop and Demolishers and defend them as they siege the towers.

Once the Towers are dead, players may capture Valorcall Pass.

All paths of troops will converge on Valorcall Pass and help you against the large forces coming directly out of Stromgarde Keep.

Stromgarde Keep

In order to enter Stormgarde Keep, the player must defend the Demolishers until they destroy the gates.

The Demolishers will automatically move up and target the gates once Valorcall Pass is captured.

A large amount of Alliance Forces will emerge from the Keep to attempt to push the Horde back.

Once the gate is down, it's time to push in with the troops and defeat the enemy leader!

I was unable to mine in he one I did yesterday. Have any miners been able to directly mine Iron during a warfront?

Section on buildings

Great Hall stub lists 1) Great Hall, 2) Armory & 3) Altar of Storms, (upgrade Great Hall to Stronghold), 4) Workshop, (upgrade Stronghold to Fortress).

Actual buildings with their own section are 1) Great Hall, 2) Barracks, 3) War Mill, 4) Altar of Storms, 5) Workshop

Recommended build order shows 1) Great Hall > 2) Barracks > 3) War Mill = 4) Altar of Storms > Stronghold > 5) Workshop > Fortress

Am guessing the Armory became the War Mill (or vice versa) and the Barracks is also a pre-requisite to upgrade the Great Hall?
