Remember/Tips

You need to make sure you DO NOT enter the instance more than once every 6 minutes. Important!

If you enter the instance too quickly you will be locked out later which if very inefficient for grinding all reputations in one sitting.

It takes roughly 3 Minutes to clear this instance while killing every mob inside.

Use /Timer to keep track of your runtime Important!

Spend your downtime inside the dungeon to avoid PvP'ers

The Short Run, Method 2 10 runs as fast as possibleI only recommend doing this method if:

You only need to grind one reputation from Revered to Exalted

You only have 30 Minutes to play

You want to spend your 30 minute downtime doing other things

You don't have a lot of patience

Pros

Excellent to finish off a reputation within 25k till exalted

It's only 30 minutes in one sitting

You don't have time to get bored

Cons

Very inefficient unless you know exactly how much time you've spent on each 10 runs

You have to travel back and forth each 30 minutes

Remember/Tips

If you don't time every run and do them at the exact same speed the next hour you will be locked out and it will be very frustrating Important!

You can do 10 runs and come back roughly an hour after you finish the first dungeon, though this is not as efficient as Method 1

If you are just looking to finish a reputation from Revered to Exalted, skip single mobs and go as fast as possible.

Interesting guide, and definitely helpful. One thing I think it's missing is explanations of the "long" run and "short" run - you talk about perks & drawbacks of each, but no actual explanation of what to do! Is that what the videos are supposed to show? If so, that should be more clear, and maybe even write it out for those of us who don't want to / can't watch videos.

Thanks for this awesome Guide. I'm currently working on it at the moment.
I'm attempting to maximize my time by using your short option but I felt like I should be using my Etendard de bataille de coordination & Etendard d'unité to increase however little the rep I gain. I originally ignored the concept of using it because I'm always on the move but then I got to the thinking that the banners have a 100 yard radius and could conceivably reach both floors to cover the whole dungeon.

I've played around with the positioning on a few runs to find the ideal placement.for the banner is to the left side of the purple platform where Mechano-Lord Capacitus is. (Using the map provided above aim for the bottom left hand side.) I do this when I'm training all the mobs from the start to Mechano-Lord, so I get the rep reward of killing all those mobs under the banner then I clear the remainder of the instance like normal and you'll be under the banner's buff!

Considering the cooldown on all three banners being 10 mins; It took me about 2 mins to get to Mechano-Lord (dealing with the stuns from the manavoids), then finishing the run in about 3 mins, and then having to wait 1 min to safely reset. I was able to consistently finish the instance with a 6 min cooldown on the banner I used. Which....you guessed it...is the same time you need to complete the instance so You are able to switch between the two highests banners to maximize reward.

It's a little improvement and could help make the rep grind a little more bearable...and then of course you can further maximize it by utilizing Darkmoon Faire buff which is to ride the carousel for a minute and you'll get reputation gains increased by 10% for an hour. It requires the faire to be up and you stopping every hour to go refresh but with Cloak of Coordination and hearthstone, should be doable for those who feel the need for it.

If you are starting to level a new human, simply always wear alliance tablards while leveling and remember to change them out when you hit exalted. I just did this and by the time my toon hit 90 it had 5 completed and was 90% complete on the last one. This was with mostly running 5 mans and the occasional quest while in que.

You can make the following macro to help make sure you wait 6 minutes between runs.

/stopwatch 6:00
/stopwatch play

Enter Mach and then click the macro and it will start running countdowning from 6 minutes. When it counts down the 6 minutes it will ding to let you know.

Thanks you for excellent guide. For me one run takes about 2,5min and I don't want to wait for the 6min timer each time so I just run it 10 times as fast as possible and then go on my alts to do whatever I do.

BTW, There is no reason to do this once per day on heroic

I have actually found the Botanica to be a better dungeon to run. On average, with diplomacy and standard of unity banner, I get 4k rep in the same amount of time it takes to run the Mechanar. Plus you can pull EVERYTHING to the end and kill it there, no having to kill certain mobs just to get to another part of the dungeon. This guarantees you don't miss out on the banner rep by being too far away.

A pro for fast runs would be that you can abuse reputation buffs like the one from darkmoon fair or hallows end that only last for an hour or two. Finish the 10 runs as fast as possible and immediately log out, log back in when the timer is reset and repeat.

Very good guide. If I might add my two cents:

At lvl 110, Botanica would be a better spot. Length is comparable, but the path is straightforward, and it has one more boss - meaning, 300 extra rep boost. When I tried Botanica with my 851 prot pally, it took me about 4:50 from entrance to exit, and rep boost was around 3500 or so.

Great Guide.I've used it as basis to do the rep grind. Basically instead of the Mech , I did mine in Hall of Lightning .

I find it being much more faster compared to Mech. It gives about ~2500 rep per run. The beauty of it is that it easier to run back over and reset and repeat. Plus the beauty of Uludar Artwork is just amazing (gotta give credits to Blizz for that)

I've tryed many options but the fastest route with human + darkmoon buff is:

I push Ramparts for example that everything is in Friendly 5999/6000. ( no tabard equiped - beacuse then You get reputation for alliance / horde which counts towards each city. )

After it = Magister's Terrace ( on normal ).

Then each reputation takes me 8 or 9 runs to exhalted. ( Dungeon is extremly fast specialy with mages and warlocks - chrono shift - scorch - burning rush )

And what is most important that on the end of the instance You have teleporter that teleports You out and You just go back in again.

P.S : To skip the last boss RP ( avoid the trash pack in the room of the boss ) kill the boss and then the trash. That way You spare atleast a minute or Your time.

Hope it helps anyone getting His Ambassador title.

Just tried this technique and it works great, swiping my way through as a 110 feral is pretty mindless, but sort of fun in a way. It certainly is effective. The timer trick is great too for keeping track of how fast you can blow through.

I'm redoing this achievement after moving from an EU account to a US account and thought I would add a few tips I've picked up myself along the way!

Hunters: make sure that you get the killing blow and not your pet- from what I can see, using your pet to kill mobs does not grant rep! Running this in Legion at 110 in BM, I have the Griffe du prédateur dominant equipped to give me the pathfinding speed bonus, and have my pet set on passive. If you don't have the ring, just get a cunning spec pet out- I just wanted to have my trusty wolf with me. Of course, you could also just dismiss your pet, but then you would loose out on the passive movement speed buff.

I suspect this would also apply to other pets such as warlock demons and mage/shaman elementals.
As said in previous comments, I found a better way to do this was to run the Botanica. Not only does it have an extra boss, it's also pretty linear so it makes for even easier running. I pulled as many mobs as I could to the end, dropped down my Etendard de bataille de coordination/Etendard d'unité and killed everything I'd managed to drag with me. Sometimes I would stop at a boss to make sure I still had them all following me. I was doing this in approx. 4 minutes, so it's not even much longer for more rep. On average, the two methods probably work out very close but I found this one to be easier and slightly faster.
Drag Sarannis and Thorngrin to the end with you for extra banner rep. You can also take Freywinn with you, but I found that he pauses so often to cast Tranquility that it wasn't worth the time to wait for him to catch up at the end. Laj will just continuously reset back to his pedestal in the second to last room, so just kill him as you run past.
Make use of buffs such as the Darkmoon Faire or Midsummers/Hallow's End buffs! I did this without them for the most part, but you'll save yourself a TON of time if you use them. It's worth the run back to refresh them.

Great Guide man!
I just did a 24min farm (using the 2º method) and got from early Friendly to 1/4 from revered to exalted.
Was with my DH, had a lot of time loss because of myself, i bet one can do from friendly to exalted in 30min using a DH.

This is not working for my Worgen with a Gilneas Tabard (Revered). Oddly, I could gain no reputation with Stormwind or Gilneas in the Stockades either. I was able to gain reputation in WoD's Shadowmoon Burial Grounds and Cata's Upper Blackrock Spire. Is there a list anywhere explaining which dungeons work with a particular faction's tabard and perhaps also provide a list of reputations sans tabard?

2020, this method still works if you're worried that Blizzard patched it out. Just be patient and you'll guaranteed get this done within about an hour and a half of repeated runs.

If you're using this guide to farm rep for multiple character's main races for heritage armor sets instead of the ambassador achievement, do the fast runs until you get locked out. Then hop on a different toon until they're locked out and just keep character hopping until you've done all the characters you need.

For me today: Silvermoon on my belf, Bilgewater Cartel on my goblin, Thunder Bluff on my tauren and probably a few on my alliance races as well.
