Hate ally cuz... True warriors dont take orders from a girl, especially if girl is a squishie
...oh, Jaina Proudmoore. Okay. I didn't know what you meant, initially.
I'm not that up to date on the lore, but isn't she something like the most powerful magic user in the world?
Incidentally, I doubt your Forsaken brethren will enjoy you knocking taking orders from a "squishy girl"....

I don't stereotype, I hate both factions. :D - Actually I just hate my server... but that's not the point.

In beta, there were a lot more Alliance than Horde, so Alliance had the upper-hand. This lead to Blizzard changing the geography of the game so that the Horde were closer and had better access to instances and quest hubs. This is why the geography between Warcraft and World of Warcraft are different. Now that there are more Horde, I wouldn't be surprised if Blizzard evened out the areas in the future, or perhaps gave Alliance some perks.
Who told you there were more Horde? On my server Alliance outnumbers Horde 21000 to 2000. No joke.

I used to gank the Alliance (my own faction) in the arena of the early days. What we did was situate a Horde priest, known to me and a couple of friends, in the middle of the StV arena. Alliance players thought it would be an easy kill if they came with 2 or 3 together as a group, and jumped into the arena.
BAM!
Ambushed by two rogues and sometimes even a druid. The whispers we used to get after corpsecamping them were great (so full of words!).

I play horde, yet I don't hate the Alliance. Because one day I'll eventually join them. It is boring playing the same character in the same situations and locations over and over. But as all players a member of the opposing faction will beat you down at some point. At that moment I did feel a pure hatred for the Alliance. In real life would you not hate someone who killed you or your friend? But as it is just a game I could never really hate anyone in it.

Horde will always triumph over Alliance, because Alliance is stupid.
Or something like that.

As a member of the Horde, I'd have to say that I also hate Horde. Given the chance, I'd melt their faces off too.
And I often do in arenas.

This is precisely why I hate the language barrier. Blizzard is blatantly playing off human fear and hatred of the unknown -- one of our most deplorable traits -- in order to achieve a desired effect. It is
never
an acceptable practice, even in a game. That it is a tactic used so often by advertisers, politicians, and others with agendas doesn't justify it in the slightest, either.
That has to be one of the things from my last MMO that I liked more than WoW. There was a language barrier, but not as bad. In CoH/CoV you were able to have heroes add heroes to friends, villains add villains. You weren't able to talk to villains (although you weren't even able to see them if you weren't in a PvP zone) but while in the PvP zone there was no barrier. And outside the PvP zones, you could add people's global name to a global buddies list, so heroes could talk to villains that were on their global. It would tell you when they were on, and which character they were on so you wouldn't have to worry about adding all of their alts just to know when they were on.
Something like that global chat interface would be something I'd like to see in WoW.
On Topic: I'm alliance and I don't hate horde. I actually love horde because undead/blodd elf > alliance races.

Sure I hate the Alliance. (Playing as Horde)
If an ally sees you, they kill you.
If an ally sees you WHILE you're killing a mob, they kill you.
