I just read that Crit is the best stat for surv hunters on
www.warcrafthuntersunion.com
then I read on the stat weights that haste is best so which should I reforge using?

Haste is tricky. It is generally accepted (I'm using the term GENERALLY ACCEPTED to indicate that the research and sims agree on this somewhat, but it is certainly not written in stone) that you want your haste at 757. This enables you to get Cobra Shot down to 1.66 seconds, enabling you to get 3 Cobras in between every Explosive Shot. After that haste point, the value of haste severely diminishes. The next "haste plateau" that we would want to reach is simply not practical (this may change in 4.0.6).
After you are hit capped and have 757 haste (or so), Crit > Mastery > Haste.

My guess is crit over haste. For now (4.0.6 may change that).
Because is too easy to reach the first haste plateau, and too dificult (therefore useless, for a SV) to reach the second plateau.
And crit is always DPS up, no calc needed.

wow... ok that is way out there. why would you even want that much haste and what would the benefit be? I could see with marksman maybe 1 sec aimed shots but with surv?

MM would never want haste for that reason. MM never, ever, ever fires a non-instant Aimed Shot.
The benefit of that much haste for Survival is that you can fit in an additional shot per Explosive Shot CD.

New T11 4piece bonus may make this a reality, depends on how they end up tweaking it though. I believe there was some analysis on this over at WHU a week or so ago.
"May" only in that it cuts the amount we need severely. We still need a metric ton from gear itself, which still "may" not be possible until T12 content, at which point our T11 4p will probably be replaced.
(Assuming you aren't doing something stupid like stacking it.)

Fair enough on Aimed Shot. I should have qualified my statement a bit more than that (there are rarely times when you can say "always do this" or "never do this" in this game and be 100% correct), but you rightly put me in my place.
I'm still not sure how the math will shake out on ever using a cast-timed Aimed Shot in the middle of a fight. Although, it may do so much damage in 4.0.6 that it is worth it.
