Haven't seen the horde warrior/paladin/rogue sets yet, I really hope they're good.

I mean come on, look at tier 6, all of them were fantastic, why are they being so slack with the art?
All the WoTLK models I have seen are either tier 3 re-makes or really badly designed, there is no definition, nothing unique about it, it just looks like armor, nothing more.

So, this is what i think happened. IMO

Designer: Hey guys! I have an idea!
Other Designers and Design Head: ? lulwut?
Designer: Yeah, For T9, we make each armor class have pretty much the same armor, cept with different colours and accents. And make different models between Horde and Alliance! That way we only have to design 6 models. And the players think we started to branch out with our designs!
Designer2: This is better than SUNWELL!
Designer Head: PAY THIS MAN!

The Alliance plate set is dissapointing, the helm looks like someone cut of the head of a beluga whale and poked holes to breathe and see.

And the horde rogue set has lanterns on the shoulder.
A stealth class, With headlights!

I'm not seeing the relation on the alliance plate set. I kinda like the way it looks, and I personally don't care about the shared models. I'm sure the T10 (assuming from Icecrown) is going to be super-awesome like T6 was. T9, all the gear is coming from the Argent Crusade, I can kinda see how it would be similar. I'm not one to get all bent out of shape because I don't look unique.

I'm with you on the horde rogue set though. Red and Yellow, with lights? It looks terrible.
