or is it easy mode casual bullsht just like wrath was?
I've said it before and I'll say it again and again, Wrath was only easy mode if you played it as such. 12/12 HC ICC was NOT an easy achievement, there's PvP which is always challenging, and there are plenty of achievements like the Insane in the Membrane or whatever which were very difficult to get.
But, that aside, no, Cata is not easy mode. Just look at the QQ from the 'Wrath Babies' and you'll see the glorious
ness
of challenging heroics.
Oh, yes he is here. I like him to be honest heh.

12/12 HC ICC was NOT an easy achievement,
you seem to really think that way : /
i am sure you will say otherwise, but i am also sure you never raided in vanilla or in tbc... but yea you will come saying that you have always raided, that you cleared SWP in one night after realease with 20 people.
cata content is about karazhan difficulty back in time; aka it is interesting, but with a good group of skilled player, you can clear every raid in some hours even without knowing strategy.
I've never raided, it's not my style. I'm extremely casual.
I do, however, have enough time to keep tabs on what's happening on the raiding scene, because it interests me. Much like a film critic who you listen to but he couldn't make a film for $%^& if he tried, I suppose.

left after the BS pre-cata event rolled around
is it worth coming back? or is it easy mode casual bullsht just like wrath was?
It is a video game.. what do you think? Seriously if you find video games hard, you need to consider treatment.
Doing anything in an MMO is jsut about time. AKA how much time do you want to devote?

I am pretty much in the same situation as the OP, but if I may I'd like to come with a question :P
So, being a moron when it comes to computers, when I quit WoW my computer kinda crashed, and my dad ran windows 7 on it and now it works fine, but WoW is now not on it, and I am just wondering, do I have to install all the discs again? And can I install them for the second time (is the code you have to enter each time preventing me from doing that)?
Thanks!
Oh, and by the way I think you should start playing again. Cataclysm looks awesome according to the players, and I think Blizzard did a good job this time (not saying I didn't like WotLK)

Sounds like you'll have to reinsyall it yes. However, the code is to activate your account, not for the game itself. (I.E using someone else's discs you could install the game, but you'd still have to buy it online for the code to get an account. However, anyone with an active account could come round and play on it.)
So just borrow the discs or install from the official WoW page (and make sure it's official).
You'll have to re-activate your account by logging into eu.battle.net :)

You don't need a new CD keys, for expansions you have played. I returned to Wow after a long break and upgrading my PC.
You will have to log into battlenet and start the download of the software, but as you have paid for some expansions you will be good for those, you willl just have to pay for the expansions you haven't paid for. For example if you quit during WotLK, you will only have to pay for the Cataclysm expansion, not the BC and vanilla.
Of course you will need to get your monthly subscription going again.
As with all expansions of games, Cata is just a skin over the same game. There are alterations to mechanics, there are new NPCs etc, but those for all intents and purposes are just skins over an existing model.
So you know what you are getting with WoW, AKA it hasn't as much as the message boards will make you believe.

Interest
Until you realize that it's another WoW clone with a few interesting gimmicks (the Rift invasions, etc)
that will get old quickly
, that there's no way they'll be able to balance characters that can choose from any combination of
7 talent trees with 51 points each
, and that its graphics will grow stale and look dated well before WoW's will because WoW is a stylized game and does not make an attempt at photorealism
Holy crap. Thank god I got NWN2 as my second game (in case WoW gets boring). All the modules people make for it makes the game NEVER get stale.
