That would be the 40/31 build that was all the rage for about 2 days into 3.1 until they hofixed/nerfed Conflag. Now it's still an ok build but nothing like it was.
this
conflag was good enough to consider taking it instead of a felguard but now it isn't. drop conflag, get FG, simplify your rotation and increase your dps.

then whats the benefit of felguard ? i usualy use imp to incrise my fire spell dmg .. considering this build is based on fire spells..
and btw the rotation i should use on the FG build is Coa, CORR, immo, incen spam.. ? until refresh time...
cheers and thanks for your help ;)

I'm running 0/40/31, and I'd say in my case it it completely destroys 0/41/30 in DPS. I have no idea why. Perhaps it's because a close-to-perfectly executed decimation rotation + conflag > felguard? I don't know.
You can't compare these builds if you are whacking on a dummy, so you have to try it a couple of times in different raids to be sure.

raid buffs could play a part for sure. a raid that is
very
low on melee might favour an imp build i suppose.
a balanced raid would be better for the FG and better for the raid as a whole but, you play with what you've got i suppose.

no it's not gear. all things being equal the FG and the FG build
will
do more damage than the imp build.
there are outside factors at work.
with all these things we can say what works best in ideal situations or objectively theorycraft dps values but in all things 'YMMV'. particularly in the current game where the potential builds are so close on potential dps.
