Welcome to Wowhead's Guild Recruitment Forum! :)
Here we wish to offer an alternative (or addition) to the
World of Warcraft Guild Recruitment Forums by allowing our users to advertise their guilds in order to seek new members, and give users an opportunity to find new guilds for leveling/raiding or other such fun. You might already fit into a potential guild at least with one shared interest - love for Wowhead! ;)
We do ask that users wishing to post here follow a few simple rules, naturally.
- When posting a guild recruitment thread, please include as much information as possible, specifically answering all questions described in the template found below (as applicable). If you want people to join your guild, you should at least show them how professional and awesome you are by at least having the courtesy to specify whether you're Horde or Alliance! ;)
- No trolling. This forum will be pretty strictly moderated (as if I work any other way) and is not the place for communicating whines or complaints about other guilds / servers / players. If you have an issue with a guild or one of its players, take it up in-game with their leader.
- Follow the general forum rules. You're no more allowed to post spam here than anywhere else! Furthermore, don't even try advertising for a private server guild. Trust me.
Failure to meet our standards for your recruitment post will result in immediate thread deletion! We will not format your post for you.
Bumping your threadYou are welcome to bump your recruitment thread
once every 24 hours. Any abuse of this will not be tolerated.
Please
do not make a new thread - edit your existing thread as available positions / details change and put your daily bump to good use!
Users who post multiple guild recruitment threads (for the same guild) may find action taken upon their forum privileges!
Get Started!When posting a guild recruitment topic, please try to include the following line at the beginning of your topic title, as it will make it easier for users to find exactly what they are looking for!

Be sure to include any further information about your guild, including anything you'd like to say regarding progression, focus, or anything you think will attract people to your guild. You are more than welcome to include a link to your guild's site, but any inappropriate links will be removed and Wowhead will not be held responsible for the content of these external links.
You are also welcome to post a "Looking for guild" topic, same rules apply (of course). There are no strict guidelines for posting a "Looking for guild" thread as with server transfers / faction transfers / race transfers, the information may not necessarily be static, but please try to be as informative as possible in both your subject and your topic. I've included an example of the sort of information that is to be expected by a potential guild:

Please note that the guidelines for a "Looking for guild" post are not as strict as those for Guild Recruitment, but you should still try to be as professional and informative as possible! Remember, guild drama does not belong here! :)
Anyway, hope this helps you guys out some - we've had a lot of requests for such a forum so we hope it can aide our users in finding new guilds as well as making new friends. :)
