You're not the first person to mention this issue. I think it's still being looked into (though someone with blue text can say for sure) but I've just approved the guide for you (good job!) so I wonder if it has appeared in your "my guides" section now?
Either way, here's a
link
to it.

Do we receive an e-mail or something that lets us know our guide is accepted or rejected when we wrote one?
I thought I read about it, but not sure..

Not that I know of.
I did make a comment on
your guide
though so you'll probably want to check that out.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

Okay, fair enough.
And thanks for commenting on my guide. I'll make some changes asap!

So, it doesn't appear on the
http://www.wowhead.com/my-guides
page, but it
does
show up on the "Guides" tab on my User Page. Not consistent, but at least there is a place to go to quickly find my guide without having to perform a search or browse through the guides page.
Thanks, asakawa!
Hmm so, even when approved, the guides don't appear in your "my guides". Hopefully Koper will see this and perhaps it'll help pin down the issue.

New guides go through an approval process and, while the purpose of that isn't necessarily to catch inaccurate information we can catch big inconsistencies. After that, each guide has a comments section in which anyone can give feedback (including corrections and clarifications) to the author and failing that, there's always the report button.

Good work Koper!
Funden, I'm not sure exactly what the problem you're seeing is but in guides (since Koper mentioned moderator BBCode works) try using
. . .
Jubilee, the BBCode for those is
content
I smell lazy people... snif snif:D
BBCode Tags
?
Unless this wasn't up at the time, then I'm the one smelling hehe

The thread existed but didn't include any of the staff/guide only BBCode tags at that point since the feature was so new. Whether it existed or not their questions were valid in this thread and, while I know you're linking to help point people to info, was there actually any need to quote a post from July like that?

Really good idea with this, but if people aren't very used to BBCode or any code for that matter, this might not be very attractive :)
Don't know if the project is gonna continue. If it is, then i have a couple of ideas that would improve the guide writting.
Templates!
- Why keep inventing that tire when it's done already
A GUI
with buttons even(wauv) - think i heard someone say that repeat your code :D
An ID finder/scroller
... Something that makes it easier to find that annoying boss spell.
QuickEdit
- This might be a bit extreme, but a very small and simple picture editor. To make something like an "X" on a map, or circles, squares, icons or arrows for raid guides.
That was just what i had for now.
For the time being, then this offline BBCode editor has customizable buttons which i found quite nice.
AHK BBCode Editor
I am linking this editor as a free tool and nothing else. I believe this to be within the rules of wowhead/World of Warcraft.
Hope to see some development on this project soon!

Users have already started creating
templates
. You're welcome to create one too, I think they could be quite useful.
The guide edit box includes several buttons to access simple BBCode (just like the forum edit box does). Complex code is complex and impractical to fit into that row of buttons. Hopefully my BBCode thread can help with that though.
The site is a WoW database. It
is
your ID finder.
The site has
map pins
and the image upload tool, when combined with MSPaint, should be good for arrows and the like ^_^

What would be good would be to be able to put notes for certain pins, IMO. For example, being able to mark a pin as <Boss> instead of just having the coordinates when you mouse over.
Tell me if I'm making sense >.>

Not only can you do that but you can also put cool things like screenshots in there!
