I always laugh when people call me a f@ggot when they get mad at me. When they do I say,
"What? I'm a small bundle of sticks used to start a fire?"
Kind of on topic and kind of not.

Hehe, i once said that too, didn't go down very well..

Lol. What happened? Most of the people just give me a weird look after I say it.

In New Zealand, the N word is used in jest, even between friends.
I am white, and at high school I would walk up to one of my darker-coloured friends and say "What's crackin' my n*****?"
We don't have a very good history with the native folk here, and relations are not exactly jovial. But that particular word doesn't pose a problem, as long as it isn't used in anger and in a racial context.

Well, my parents are Russian/Polish, whose parents immigrated to South African, and I'm born in New York, so the joke is that I'm "African-American." I can use it with my black friends is I'm joking (and if it ends in an a), but not as a racist term. Note the difference between Ni--a and the N-word.

They're the same word. This whole thing is a joke. N*gga clearly derives from n*gger. The only difference is that one is a mispronunciation by ghetto homeboys referring to their dawgs. If n*gger is offensive to someone, n*gga should be just as offensive. If n*gga isn't offensive to someone, then n*gger shouldn't be offensive either.

I disagree, it's all about intent. Because society has made it so, if someone called me n*gga and I'm black, I would take it as a sign of companionship, because that is how it is commonly used today. If someone called me n*gger, it's more likely intended to be negative.

They're the same word. This whole thing is a joke. Immoral clearly derives from moral. The only difference is that one is a mispronunciation by educated philosophers referring to evil. If immoral makes someone evil, moral should do just the same. If moral makes someone good, than immoral should to.

People use it when they think they can get away with it. The general assumption in WoW is that everyone you're playing with is a pasty misanthropic white guy with no social skills, so of course he doesn't care if you use the n-word.

It is common for people to replace the "-er" sound with a "-a" sound, because it's an easier sound to make. Sista is the same thing as sister. Brotha is the same thing as brother. N*gga is the same thing as n*gger.
Moral and immoral are different, in that moral is the root word, and immoral is one of the words that is developed from that. There is no root word in n*gger or n*gga.

Just because you say it, doesn't make it true; considering the actual root word of that;
negro
was a 'polite' term compared to the actual insult, it's not like it's a bad thing that the people who had the insult used against them took it back.
