I didn't say why I recommended to ditch destruction
that's right, you didn't.
you don't qualify your statement with
any
reason. empirical, theoretical or even whimsical. but i challenge it on the first two grounds. i can give good reasons for the recommendation not to use destruction to be wrong and for it to be bad advice for someone who has come here with a fair (if well covered) question.
if you have a good reason then state it, don't just get offended when someone says you're giving bad advice.
defend the advice you give or stop posting it.
