Why the $%^& was this necro bumped? Stop feeding the %^&*ing trolls, especially the retarded ones.
Goetz: You don't understand the game, you don't understand PvP, and you don't understand our class. Stay the !@#$ out of here.
OP necro-bumped it himself. Holy trolly needs to be banned.
(Oh, and news flash? Paladins are strong vs melee, weak vs casters)

Now i realize this thread is probably done with for the time being but i have 1 thing to say that could be claimed for being in his defense. (Before you say anything i have been playing a 70 lock for quite a while in pvp and i have seen the downs and ups for different specs) Fearing and dots aren't the only way locks can fight in pvp. While many people will argue destruction is not meant for pvp ill gladly come and burn you to the ground, Locks dont require fear and can in fact do insane burst damage the fear and dot is just a single spec meant for taking out 1v1 or arena cc. So take this into consideration you have a affliction lock that can keep 1 person chain feared ok what happens if this is an arena match and there are 2 enemies the lock can't fear him(i.e. he is very susceptible to taking damage). Warlocks of the fear and dot are meant to own people in 1v1 matches there is no mistaking that but if you take it into wider consideration it is in no means over powered.
Hmm i guess that was more then 1 thing but it gets the point across of you cant take single situations as a basis for nerfing a main part of 2 specs for a class.

my main is a 70 feral druid,
but i do have a 35 lock and i must say my main has little issue with locks... and thats without using feral charge, without stunlocks like rogues and a 2 min CD stun that ive prob not got up...
You keep saying they use it offensively....Have you never heard the saying: The best Defense is a good offense? If locks couldnt fear like they do they would be a laffable class...
Dont pallys have a ranged stun? trinket then cast that? WOW you are able to heal and get in his face and take him out...
Each class has their own other class that can own them, it takes skill to beat them anyways...
You keep comparing Spriests to Locks, without adding that Spriests dont need the fear due to hmm heals, bubbles and a higher short term dps, ive been ripped to shreds by mind flays in under 20 seconds ><... and it didnt break their psychic scream...
The only thing i would change about locks in pvp or any class for that matter is once that your opponent dies all dots/debuffs from them fade... Nothing sucks worse than killing them only to die 10 seconds later lol.
Yes its a wall of text, i just put in 45 hours of 8pm to 6or8am so im not with it enough to edit it nicely
