Question, is the 'one life' evil, bad, criminal...etc
If so, I think I would.

Your question is too abstract. But I'll try to answer through an example.
In my country, after long negotiations, police used a sniper to kill a guy who took a family as hostages and said he'll kill them all unless they bring him their daughter. The guy didn't fire a single bullet, but he would not surrender and was known to police as very violent and dangerous.
If oyu ask me - they did the right thing.
I think that people should always do what they think is right, but
without
being cowardly
nor
egoistical. And that is very hard thing to do, since people usually can't see the difference between
courage
and
pride
(and pride is
not
the same as
dignity
).

Theoretically of course. That wouldn't happen.
The IRA once put bombs into a 3 year old girl's mother's day present without her knowing and she was blown to pieces. So, things like that are more real than you think.

would you destroy one life to save many lives or rather do nothing and see many lives destroyed....
Tough ethical question. I'd say that the ends do not justify the means.

It'd change the course of history. Some things need to happen, and I wouldn't risk altering the present for the worse to save 6 million people. It's just one of those things I wouldn't do; Alter history. Sure, saving lotsa people by killing one person in the present is one thing, but changing history is too big a step for me.
It'd be like going back and handing out antibiotics in mid 1400's Europe. Yes, you'd save 50+ million people, but what effect would that have on Today?

How do you know it isn't? How do you know what time is? If you do, you should be teaching at MIT.
