Interest
This thread highly amuses me.
I'm too tired to read the whole thing, but has anyone brought up the fact that overpopulation may be a reason to go childless?

Denmark has the 18th highest external debt. What the #$%^ does that have to do with anything?
America has the highest debt by far, so they have absolutely no reason to be happy by your logic, right?
It doesn't.
Bad financial status might bring extra worries though.
And I don't know if that list you linked does count people's debt (to banks, companies etc.).
But Denmark being one of the most happiest countries in the world doesn't change the fact that people in developing countries are quite happy.
Thats true, I was just pointing out that you said THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE live in Mali, when in fact that is false, as they live in Denmark. Just clearing that up.

@ Gorefiend if average woman will have ~2.1 babies, the population will stay the same.
Those two babies will have two babies, and those two babies will have two babies, and the numbers keep increasing.
(gah look at me, reduced to double posting >_<)

Where is your brain? If every woman has 1 female baby, then the population will stay constant. Each female will produce one female on average assuming that women have 2 children and that male or female is 50/50.
Anyways, the OP is stupid, end of story.

A crap, read that as a decimal instead of a ratio. Wrong frame of mind FTL.
