Anyone else having a issue where you're not able to enter the wow world with any addon's being enabled?

This is what kills me about the wow API
they basically ban the addons that don't keep up and confiscate the ones that do

In case you're still having this problem, try making a new char and delete it after you log in.

The problem is not caused by add-ons directly, more like the cache needs to get built again by WoW and other technical stuff that I didn't quite get.

This also happens to me sometimes, what I do to fix it is that i first disable all my add-ons then login and back out. When I've logged back out i enable the add-ons again and then it works fine.

I think the OP is specifically talking about the Wowhead add-on. I noted this problem last night; I could get in fine on my DK, but for some reason my Shaman wouldn't load.

I had to go through and enable each add-on one at a time, and lo and behold, it was the Wowhead Looter add-on that was causing him to hang up on loading. I meant to report it last night but I got pulled into an unexpected ToC 25 man run.

Yeah the only problem with that is he said "any addons enabled".

Just wondering if he's actually tested to see if it's a specific add-on? There are common reports of problems logging in with certain add-ons enabled, but I've never heard of log-in problems with any add-ons.

*shrug* Maybe something new.
