Pour valider ce haut-fait, vous devrez cliquer sur 5 chauve-souris dans la zone de Revendreth.
Pour cliquer sur une chauve-souris, vous devrez débourser 5 Rubis infusé. Il vous faudra 25 rubis en tout.

note : si le voyage avec une chauve-souris ne valide pas le pré-requis du haut-fait, recommencez jusqu'à ce que cela soit validé, c'est un bug qui est connu.

Première chauve-souris en /way 25.10 37.51
Prendre le planeur gobelin et aller en /way 31.83 59.12
Deuxième chauve-souris en /way 31.83 59.12
Troisième chauve-souris en /way 57 61
Quatrième chauve-souris en /way 60.35 61.19 (tout de suite après l'atterrissage).
Prendre le planeur gobelin pour atterrir dans Sombrehavre.
Cinquième chauve-souris en /way 64.06 62.11

Le haut-fait se valide.

Pour pouvoir utiliser les Chauves-souris, il faut d'abord compléter la quête Le marais des Affres qui se trouve aux coordonnées /way 65.14 63.59

Après avoir suivi le chemin de Lyndachou je me suis retouvé aussi à 3/5
En consultant les commentaires anglais il y a 2 autres chauve-souris qui m'ont permis de finir le HF

To get Chiroptérophile you need infuse the rubies on 5x Statue de chiropteffroi.
You will spend 5x Rubis infusé per each Statue de chiropteffroi.
After infuse the rubies you will fly on the bat.

I found one at /way 31 59 and it was glowing and flew me away, but it did not count towards the achievement. I think it might be bugged right now.

Hello!

I just finished this achievement by using these bats:

/way 57,3, 61,3 Dreadbat 1
/way 60,4, 61,2 Dreadbat 2
/way 64,1, 62,1 Dreadbat 3
/way 31,9, 59,2 Dreadbat 4
/way 25,1, 37,6 Dreadbat 5

I had to ride a few of them more than once for them to count
Sometimes the credit was awarded immediately, while in other cases, it was awarded randomly in the middle of the flight, or right on landing.

Bat that was supposed to be at /way 56,3, 62,3 wasn't there for me at all.

TL;DR bugged, wait for fix, unless you want to test your luck or spend loads of gems.

This might sound dumb, but I think I figured out the problem. When you get on the bat just...take your hands off the keyboard and mouse. Don't open the Achievement menu.

Idk why, or if its real, but everytime I opened the menu when I got on the bat it did not work. But whenever I just put my hands up and let it go, the achievement would count it.

Just because no one has mentioned it yet, this is another reference to What We Do In The Shadows. Whenever Lazlo (one of the vampires) transforms into his bat-form he shouts "Bat!"

I had to take 14 bats (some of them twice or thrice) before the achievement finally counted for the 5 bats.

I feel like this should be stated since no one has really said it, but they aren't always at the coordinates listed. I just used two different people's reference for coordinates but I still have yet to see a bat.

After some endless searching, it seems that I can sometimes see the Dreadbat Statues, but I cannot click on any, even with a full stash of Rubies, as well as completing Loremaster and Sojourner of Revendreth. I do have one other random quest in the area but I highly doubt it's what stopping me, but I might get it done later and see if that was it. For now though, I would work on other things and come back when hopefully the bugs get kinked out.

Edit on 12/15: I still can't click them and I completed that last quest which was for The Endmire and still cannot but my alts who haven't quested in the area yet can. Maybe I will just suck it up and get it done on an alt

Edit 12/18: I was able to click my first bat! And it gave me credit for the achievement. So I think it might be safe to work on this.

Besides the comment by wingman2 to take hands off mouse and keyboard there might be another thing that's causing the issue: tracking the achievement.

I was at 3/5 bats but as soon as I started tracking the achievement I stopped getting progress. I was stuck at taking the 2 last bat rides over and over again.

I untracked the achievement and I immediately got progress and finished the achievement.

I cannot see the bats. I was running around and none of the bats let me give them rubies. I was running around with my friends who are with the necrolords (I'm venthyr) and they suddenly went, "Oh! I can click on this bat" and suddenly took off across the map. I couldn't even see the bat. There was nothing there. We even screen shared so we could see each other's screens. I have done ALL the quests in Revendreth and have Sojourner of Revendreth achieve. I have no idea what's going on or why I can't see them.

I think it has something to do with the flight paths, I had to take the same bats multiple times to get the achievement, but I noticed the bats frequently took me to different landing points, from the same start point. Sorry I don't have the full answer, but hopefully the puzzle piece helps.

The bat at the Darkhaven FP seems to be bugged as it doesnt get counted towards the achi. Ive flown it 6 times now and it doesnt work.
I suggest only doing this achi when youve got rubies to spare.

From the Locs listed here, I was successful. All of the ones that gave me a credit did give credit on the first ride. Only Bat 4 was a jerk and didn't give credit and I did try him 3 or 4 times.

These worked for me:

This is still bugged as of 1/10/2021, I've been on all bats in the zone at least 5 times each. They need to fix this as it is not consistent per player, some get it and some don't.

I believe some may only be available (visible) during World Quests.
For example, today "Parasol Peril" is not available, nor is the bat on the landing platform.

I am so annoyed, I have used the one near the "Scorch" Pet Battle so many times, never counted. It worked today because I dismounted before clicking.
That may be something to try. Good luck all.

This achievment seems to be a bit buggy, but maybe it's not a matter of the dreadbat itself, but of the destination it flies to.

For me the following five counted towards the achievment:

/way 35, 35 (Next to the little hut at the muckpools)
/way 21.68, 50.23 (The Shrouded Asylum up at the tower)
/way 60.40, 61.20 (Next to the flightmaster in Darkhaven)
/way 64.10, 62.10 (Outside of the East Gate of Darkhaven)
/way 31.90, 59.20 (At the south point of the broken bridge, directly south of "Sanctuary of the Mad")

/way 60.4, 61.2 this one didn't work for me, tried twice
/way 64.1, 62.1 worked first time

/way 25.1, 37.6 this one also didn't work for me, only tried once

rather than go back and try again I tried a few others i found in the comments

You need to complete the Quest The Endmire to be able to see the bats for the achievement. The quest giver is located at /way 65.14 63.59

I had a high success rate for them counting toward achievement if there was an event going on that made using the bat convenient or useful to get around on.

For some reason, despite having max rubies, I cannot interact with any of these bats. They are there and I can see them but cannot click on them. I have completed The Endmire. Cannot seem to find a solution online and blizzard answered my ticket saying check Wowhead and they cant give hints >.>

As stated, some of the spots are buggy. I got the achievement by trying all spots the first day (got 3 hits) and the next day I tried them all again and got the remaining 2

This is almost certainly a reference to Laszlo in the What We Do in The Shadows TV series, a vampire who yells "Bat!" when he turns into a bat.

Given that there are a ton of other references to the show in Revendreth (Nadja, Nandor, Guy Yearmo NPCs are all from the show), interestingly there's no Laszlo NPC so far afaik.

Strange achievement still close to 9.1.5 - Just keep trying different rides, ride them fully and yeah...I tried like 8-9 rides for getting 5 total counts. No need to wait next day etc.

In 9.1.5, seems this achievement is bugged for some players, ticket was created to Blizzard and they have recognized is a current issue.
Let's wait until is official patched.

I understand you're having a funky issue in-game with earning the Bat! achievement.

After reading through old tomes of logs, running all across Azeroth, and doing some serious Sherlock Gnomes-type investigating, I do believe I see what happened here.

I've gone and checked to see if this was a known issue and it seems we're getting reports from players saying the exact same thing. I've gone ahead and shot your info over to the powers that be who will be looking into this to see what may be going on. Our Quality Assurance team, as well as the Developers, are aware this is a large spread issue and will be working their butts off to fix this as soon as possible!

Now, even though I've gone ahead and sent up a report myself, it's extremely important due to the fact that the report you send gives way more information than my own. Basically a good 5x more info is sent when a player shoots us a bug report, so that's why we tend to stress them as much as we do.

Basically to give you a run down of the process, when we get reports like this from players we get all this information together to get it sent off to the QA Department, which is then tested and investigated. If an issue if found, that goes to the Devs to investigate, and then a fixed is sent out in a hotfix or patch.

While we wait for a fix in order to keep everyone on a level playing field we have been instructed to not go in and manually intervene in this situation as it would likely cause further issues. I know that is most likely the furtherest thing from what you wanted to hear, but I hope that me explaining this process to you helps make sense of all the work that goes into fixing issues in-game like this.

I've noticed that sometimes the dreadbat statue won't use your Infused Rubies, therefore, in my mind at least, not technically animating the statue, ergo not counting toward the achievement.

Had to ride bats 4 and 5 multiple times because they didn't count initially.

On the final attempts that did count, back-to-back after multiple failed attempts across both bats, I made a conscious effort to stand as close to the bat as possible before riding.
No idea if being close while you ride it actually helped get them to count or if it was just the RNG of multiple attempts.

The first bat I animated while mounted didn’t count. I went back to it and animated it while not mounted, and it counted. Every one I tried after that worked as long as I animated it while not mounted.

Bug still present in 9.2.7, so even though multiple bug reports have been sent over the last few years, this still isn't fixed.

***Update***

Did it again by following someone's advice below of dismounting first and that seemed to work.
Was previously stuck at 4 and despite trying all of them again multiple times, nothing worked until I tried the dismounting thing.

/way 35 35, was the one that did it for me in the end.

I just now realized that this achievement is named after What We Do in the Shadow's' character's Laszlo's shout when he turns into a bat, which is hysterical. And I only realized now, which is sad.

Bug still present 11/6/2022; I spent about 200 rubies. I only got achieve credit on the first try for two bats. I did a daily rotation and used each bat twice (even ones I'd done before) and it took about 5 days total to get credit for all 5. On one bat I was able to repeat cast the "activate" spell on the bat, and interrupt before the cast completed. I got the achieve count for that one after about 10 spell spams, and didn't spend any rubies.

My recommendation is to try every bat listed in the comments, doing 2 attempts for each one. Hopefully it will be quicker for you.

As of 6/23/2023 this is still bugged. I have activated all the bats in Revendreth and received zero credit for any of them.

Did this in dragonflight today by gathering some Infused Rubies and dismounting before each one like a previous comment said, had no problems and did have to repeat bat 4 and 5, but it's not really bugged anymore.

Can confirm this is still bugged. I did all 7 bats and only got credit for 4. Some posts say to wait until the next day and try again. I figured I would just try the last one I did that didn't give me credit a second time and it worked. No need to wait until the next day. Achievement done!
