Hi everyone, hope you're doing well.
I've been thinking about something important. I'm a portuguese living in one of the major cities of Portugal and thought that, like me, other portuguese players may be watching our dear site.
So i thought of perhaps helping with english-to-portuguese translations in the website.
Was thinking on this as a free help to those who helped my wow life and made it better, as well as a challenge to improve my own english skills for the future.
If you think that my help could be of great benefit to the website, or if i need any specific stuff to do that kind of help, give me a reply, will be checking stuff here on Wowhead now and then.

I'm afraid that translating the site into a language is almost impossible if it's a language that the actual GAME hasn't yet been translated into. =/

The
Czech version
is coming along nicely.
Not quite impossible.

Your reasoning is a private server database that has blatantly ripped off our layout for years and has no business even being linked here? :P
Do not expect Wowhead to be translated into a language that the game does not exist in, as we use data exports directly from the client for most translation. And no offense to anyone, but the vast majority of czech WoW players are playing on private servers because servers in their language do not exist - that isn't our target audience, sorry. :P

Well, if you get everything from blizzard, it does make sense. It even makes more sense that you wouldn't need a translator around.
Still, if you need any help, you know who to call and how...i think.

Well, we still need localizers for Wowhead for any given language.
It's just a waste of resources (your time in this case) though to localize for a language which Blizzard doesn't support. Sorry. :(

And your reasoning is that the database layout is for your own benefit and not everyone's? If you really feel that way, there's nothing I can say.
