And I can agree with the Draenei for Druids, but I remember reading some post about Worgens and the fact they can now Shapeshift may allow them to learn about the feral ways of druidism with the help of the NE's.I could go off on a long rant about worgen—and how no one who likes their new lore has any business
ever
griping about draenei lore again—but I won't.
I'm hoping that Blizzard will
eventually
give draenei the druid class, in some later expansion pack. (If they did, I might just get an Alliance druid past level 30.) It'd fit with their overall spiritual and conscientious vibe (yes, they're Light-followers, but they seem capable of syncretism), it would help connect them to the metaplot (which they
need
), and it would give them the one function (stealth) that they still lack.
It could also give them some much-needed intracultural conflict. (Imagine old vindicator and young druid on the verge of a yelling match as to whether the former is a hidebound reactionary or the latter is an upstart who's gone native altogether
too
much.) Plus, the feral forms would be epic.
But...in before someone breaks out either the "space aliens" excuse or the "Bloodmyst" excuse.
They are all gonna be female.
Don't count on it
.

As someone said on another thread, all i could see if a BE became a druid is the male (in normal form as his druid form) wearing nothing but leopard spotted underwear on all fours saying "rawr"

Don't make this mistake, High and Blood Elves also practice Druidism. Not as many though.
Well, you've got a whole kingdom built to be in tune with nature, a whole military force that practices it and a border full of monolythic runestones that not only were built by "druid magi" but also protects nature from the taint of undeath.
That's a lot =D.
Yes, but seeing as the only Blood Elf 'Druid' is the guy in Botanica, I think the Blood elves have weeded out Druidism from their culture. Yes they listen to the Wilds, but they aren't as intune as they were before the 3rd War.

The biggest thing is we don't know what the High Elves are up to right now, it's possible they still believe in the older ways, but I think the Blood Elves are trying to recreate the time of the Highborne and leave out the Night Elf influences.

except blood elves can be death knights, so 'it would be too many silences and interrupts' isn't a valid excuse.
It was in BC, when they became available. Now, as you say, it's no longer valid.
Times change, you're both correct.
