Where did Alleria and Turalyon go?

Just finished BtDP, and I was expecting Turalyon and Alleria to be lost in a portal, however, it ended with Khadgar, Kurdran, Turalyon, and Alleria skipping merrily back to Honor Hold.
If that ending is to be accepted, why the heck weren't they in TBC?

Nice Sig.
But I'm not really sure, perhaps they were abducted by
aliens
demons.

We actually have a new thread for these types of questions now.
Ta-da!

But I want people to see this one... :P
Plus, it's a bigger and more overreaching question. I figure the General Discussion is for easy questions that have actual factual answers.

Well technically the all of Outland should have been destroyed during the destruction of the portal with all the leader's vanishing in different portals. They've retconned it so many times now it's hard to tell what the orginal version is and what the newest one.
More then likely, they'll play it off as the two vanishing in one of the many attempts to get home, and the other's grew fearful or something....

I'm hoping that they'll show up in a furture 'portal' expansion, probably one that has us fighting the Legion on its own ground.

Been a while since I read it, but most other sources (including more recent ones, not just the Warcraft 2 expansion) specifically said they all went through the rifts to avoid the destruction of Draenor (with more recent sources saying that some of them came back, hence why Danath, Khadgar, and Kurdran are in-game).
Perhaps the destruction of Draenor simply took longer than it had been depicted in earlier sources? And maybe once they figured out that it was falling apart,
then
they went through, and after finding that a large chunk of it remained semi-intact some of them came back? That'd be my guess.
Though of course I'm clearly just stretching for an answer to what seems mostly like an "author-based mistake..."

This is what I was thinking. I figure once we get to see the Army of Light, Turalyon and Alleria will show up with it. Maybe they're out on Xoroth fighting the Nathrezim with the Army of Light as we speak...

I'm still of the belief that Argus was consumed by the Legion after the Exiles escape. I don't know where this "The Legion's home planet is Argus, the Legion's home planet is Argus!" stuff came from. Only the Eredar are from that planet, the Dreadlords are from Xoroth, the Annihilan(Pit Lords) are from another world, there is no Burning Legion captiol, they hang out in the Nether.
Myself, would be nice to see Turaylon and Alleria with another group of Naaru helping to create another aspect of the army of Light.

Well, I assumed it was Argus because thats where the Burning Legion was founded... I thinkNo.
Since the retcon, the closest thing to the Legion homeworld would be Xoroth, because the Dreadlords are the sole reason for Sargeras's fall, where it used to be the Eredar and the Natherzim.

All we know is that where ever Turalyon is, he is dying and not in a good condition...We don't even know that much.
1. Arator's dream is just that: a dream. We don't know if it's true.
2. A certain other son of Mograine who is on Outland and is the only one who can forge a new Ashbringer can attest to retcons being very easy in these matters.

You know, I was just thinking... Alleria went apesh** on the orcs when her brother and a few relatives were killed be the Horde.
What's she going to do when she hears that two brothers, her parents, and her uncle were killed by the Scourge, and her sister was personally tortured, mutilated and killed by Arthas?
What will she do when she finds out that the Lich King was originally Ner'zhul, who they failed to kill on Outland?
What will she think of the Forsaken, who are undead and probably, as the Scourge, played a part in her family's deaths, but is now led by her sister?
Personally, I think she might just snap and start killing everything she sees. She hurt so much knowing her brother and relatives died when she wasn't there in Quel'thalas, and now 90% of her people have died along with many even closer relatives when she was away.
