What will be the new neutral city?

I dont think there will be a new neutral city in this xpac but things could change between now and the release.

I think it's impossible to predict at this point (if there is one).
Shattrath City was impossible to predict because prior to BC, we didn't know about the Naaru, nor that they helped the Draenei reclaim Shattrath. Most of what we knew about Draenor from earlier Warcrafts was about the Orcs and that's about it. In that case, they retroactively filled out a lot of history in order to make Shattrath fit.
Dalaran was just pulled straight out of someone's bum. They knew they wanted to bring it back at some point from under the dome, but it didn't have to be for the occasion of LK. It could have been for anything (like, if LK wasn't going to be the 2nd expansion... if the expansion after BC was Cataclysm, they could have still whipped out Dalaran as the big floating city above the Maelstrom or something).
I think they'll retcon some history, or make some new Titan-based city.

Well theres always Zandalar, one of the islands near to the maelstrom, and as the Zandalar tribe have proven neutral to all other races it seems like an idea. And plus it would be good for once is a neutral city was more horde based then alliance based.

plus it would lead to less server lag. Since the focus on cataclyms is based on old world azeroth instead of a new zone, theres no need for a neutral city.

If blizzard was smart they would scrap any ideas for a neutral city in Cata and any other future expansions. The lag in those cities are just horrible and anybody who who lags like hell in those cities will agree with me.

I don't think there'll be a neutral city with the existing faction cities so close by. There's nothing lore-wise that compels them at this stage, nor for player convenience. They'd also avoid the terrible lag issues suffered by Dalaran in WotLK and to a lesser extent Shattrath during TBC.

The Goblin City Undermine could work, seeing how its near the Maelstrom and full of the neutral goblin cartels and trade princes. Although I didn't hear that there definitely was not going to be a Neutral city.

If I recall correctly, there was to be something in Deepholme. Maybe something like a Horde city there, and an Alliance one, each one - connected to the major cities of that faction, as well as some key zones.

In the new December issue of pcgamer there is a full article on Cataclysm. In it they state that Deathwing will erupt out of the earth just a little south of Dun Morough and Ironforge. The elemental plane of Earth and Deephom (the new Dalaran City) are located nearby as well.
There will be a new neutral city at the time of this posting. Could change of course by the time the expansion releases.

Deepholme isn't a city, Raven, it's a zone.
I don't think there will be a neutral city is Cata. They're trying to revamp the war. Having a place where Horde and Alli can sit side by side in peace doesn't really provide for that goal of hostility

As you can see, there is nothing in Deepholme about a neutral city or anything. Alliance and Horde each have Airship Hubs.
